Chapter F O U R T Y S I X

"Melissa" I heard a knock on my door and I went towards it to open it. It was Bryan, "Hi" he sweetly smiled.

"Hey" I said as I opened my door wider so he come in. He sat on the bed and patted next to him so I could sit. I sat and hey nervously started rubbing his hands on his pants. I put my hand over his and gave him a concerned look, "you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine" he replied. He seemed worried about something. It felt like he wanted to say something but he was too afraid to.

"Do you have something to say, Bryan?"

His head snapped towards mine then he nodded, "yeah, I do" he said and I raised my eyesbrows, he better not be breaking up with me, "uhm, well...........y-you know how we're really far from the University?"

"Yeah" I nodded to urge him to continue.

"So, I was uh.........I was wondering if you wanted to live with me?"

I was shocked, "live with you?"

"I knew you would say no"

I laughed slightly, "can you please explain a little bit more?"

"Okay, so, since we live far from the University, I found a place to live which a few minutes from the University, and I didn't want to live there by myself, so I was wondering if you wanted to live there with me?"

"Bryan" I said to him and he looked at me again, "yes"

"It's okay, I unde-" he cut himself off, "wait you actually said yes? I was not expecting that"

"I would love to, I just need to confirm with my parents"

"Okay, yeah, do that" he nodded. He pecked me on the lips and I returned a peck on his cheek, "call me, alright?" He said and I nodded.

He got up from the bed and out the door. I can't believe this is happening.

I went through the hallway to go to the living room to ask my parents about this. When my parents saw me they smiled, "what was your boyfriend here for?" My mum asked.

"Uhm, mum, dad, I would like to ask you guys something" I told them as I sat beside them on the couch.

"What is it?" My dad raised his eyebrows.

"You see, Bryan came over and.......he asked me something. He said since we were far from the Melbourne University, he would find a place to live near the university. He found a place and..........and he asked me if I wanted to live with him" I told them carefully.

"Really? Oh my god, this is great!" I did not expect this reaction from my mother.

"It is?"

"Yes, you have to say yes! Don't say no, it will be great for you! Or you would have to go around in trains and a bunch of trams to get there, you can't even drive!"

"Oh" I looked to the ground then my eyes lit up, "I already said yes!" I said and jumped excitedly. I looked at my dad for his approval and he nodded and I hugged them both.

This is just awesome!

I know I haven't updated in a while, but I've just super busy, so sorry.

There is something that I would like to say, I just want to thank everyone who is reading my book! You know why?
I was stuck at 508 reads for a while then all of a sudden I reach 579 reads! It's amazing, so thank you all so much!
