Hanah had told me that she would be living in an apartment with Graham. Marilyn told me that she had found an apartment for herself as well, but this apartment was for two, I was trying to convince her that she should ask David but she won't listen, I'm gonna have to persuade her more.

School ends in 3 weeks. Our exams are done. It was really stressful but it's over. Finally. It's going to be sad leaving because there's so many people here that I really like and people who are actually really nice to me.

I got a phone call from an unknown number and I picked it up, "hello, who is this?" I asked.

"Hello Melissa, this is your school principal" he replied.

"Uhm, yes, sir?"

"This may be a big job for you but I would like for you to prepare a graduation speech"

"Really? Are you serious?" Me? What did I know about speeches? I've never said one in my life.

"Yes, Melissa, you. I heard that you're really good at speeches and your English teacher told me. I would like you to prepare a special graduation speech. This is very important, you cannot back out, I'm sorry, my decision has been made, I really need you to do this. I know it may be hard, but tale your time, you have 3 weeks. You may start if you'd like"

"Wow......this is just. I can't believe it. May I ask how long I should make my speech?"

"Well, you have 10 minutes on stage for your speech, you may have it as 7-8 minutes"

"Thank you so much! It's amazing, thank you for this opportunity!" I mean honestly, I had no clue about what to say but my parents would be really happy with me. I'm happy with myself!

I went to my parents to tell them the news, ""hey guys! Guess what?!" I yelled in excitement.

"Woah, what is it? Why are you so excited?" My dad asked.

"I'm going to be saying a speech for graduation! I can't believe it!" I said smiling really happily.

"Wow! Melissa that's amazing!" My dad said just as my mum was about to say something.

"Melissa! That's amazing!" My mum said.

"That's what dad said......" I replied.

"I know, honey, I didn't know what to say" my mum said and I giggled.

"Your mother is a copy cat" my dad said as he looked at my mother.

"And your dad is a dangerous dog" my mum said looking at my dad.

"Your mother is a feisty fox"

"Your dad is a weird wolf"

"Your mother is a-"

"Okay! I didn't come here to watch you guys call eachother names! I came to share some news" I cut my dad off. They were so annoying sometimes, but I still love them.

I left them to argue with themselves and I went to my room. As I went in, I looked around in my room, as I was looking around, my gaze fell on my window that was currently open, and the other window that was also currently open. Damn you Ryan for choosing to stay in that room.

I still stared at the window and then I saw someone come in. It was Ryan. I walked towards the window to shut it and then he noticed me. He was staring at me with those eyes that obviously showed anger.

I looked away from him and went back to focusing on shutting my window, "Melissa...." he said. My name rolling off his lips like it was foreign. I didn't want him to say my name like that. I didn't want him to look at me like that.

I ignored him completely but I don't know why I had all of a sudden forgotten about closing my window, "Melissa please...." as soon as I heard him say that, my mind was back on reality. I immediately shut the window as he was about to say something.
