5: Aftermath of Awkwardness

After the awkward encounter with Bobby, or as McNamara called him, 'Francis', Jack and his now boyfriend, Lee went down from Jack's Oval Office to McNamara's office which was in the large corridor of the bottom level of the widely famous, White House where Robert and Bobby where so they could explain what did actually happen to Bobby so he wouldn't freak out again when he saw Jack and Lee doing what they were doing previously. The pair of them entered Robert's office to find the second youngest Kennedy brother still in shock from what he seen, whilst McNamara on the other hand was glaring at Jack and Lee, for whatever reason the couple didn't know, until Jack asked his Secretary of State:

"What's wrong with Bobby?"

"He's clearly in shock for what he seen you and your boyfriend did in The Oval Office, and he's came running to me to explain the 'horror' he seen," explained Robert

"Bobby, you alright?" Questioned Jack with a glimmer of hope that his kid brother wouldn't lash out on him and Lee. Bobby sensed his big brother looking at him intently waiting for an answer that wasn't harsh or violent that would scare the Oswald-Kennedy pair, he then looked up to his brother and said:

"I'm alright, Jack, I'm still shocked to say the least, it'll take some time to sink in and get me used to the fact that my older brother is going out with his detested assassin boyfriend, and that he's came out of the closet as gay. But that doesn't mean that I don't accept you, it's just that it's a sudden slap in the face by reality, but I'm not sure how Mom and Dad will take the news, and the rest of the family, Jean, Eunice, Kathleen, Pat, Rosemary and Ted, but hopefully they will see that you both are really in love with each other and maybe accept you, but if they don't then I'm always here for you," explained Bobby with a smile that reassured the pair that he would accept them no matter what or if Jack's family didn't support their second eldest son and older brother of being who he really wanted to be and who he has chosen to be in a relationship with.

"Thanks, Bobby, that means a lot to us,"
Jack said as he pulled his little brother in for a hug, Lee did the same. Robert was still sitting pondering about the whole situation, wondering what to do or what to say to the President and his boyfriend, he then rose from his chair and went toward the group hug that was still ongoing, when Bobby, Jack and Lee pulled away from their little group hug session, Robert walked over to Jack and Lee, and shook both of their hands whilst looking at them right in the eye and saying:

"Well, I can't say that I'm not unhappy with you guys, but as Bobby was saying-,"

"Oh, do you hear that? He finally gets my name right!" Jokes Bobby to Jack and Lee.

"Hey, do you mind? You've cut me off mid-sentence," Robert jokingly complained to Bobby.

"Oh, sorry, Your Highness(!)" Bobby sarcastically remarks.

"For your information, Bobby, Francis or whatever your name is, I'm not apart of royalty as you're well aware, I am simply your brother's Secretary of State, now may I continue with my explanation to your brother and possibly your future brother in-law, please?"

"Yes."

"Thank you. As I was saying, I do accept you two but as Mr Sarcastic Asshole was saying, it'll be some time for me to let this really sink in, and accept what has happened happen, so I'm not against you or whatever, but be warned, there are many people out there that won't accept you guys for who you are, but as long as you two stick together and ignore other people's negative views and opinions then I think you can both kick society's backside, and show them that it's perfectly fine to express the way you want to express yourself not how society wants you to be expressed,"
After Robert had said his accepting and inspiring speech, Jack had a little tear in his eye, he then says to Robert:
