*Hansol's POV*
When we reached the army base, we got to know some of our fellow soldiers and some of the commanders. We explained that most of our army was either dead, missing or injured. We didn't mind just being normal soldiers, I became friends with a guy named Ten who was looking for his friend. He seemed very familiar, and his name but I couldn't quite recall where I heard his name before. "Ten, where did you say you were from?" I asked. He smiled. "I'm from Bangkok. The capital of Thailand, what part of Korea are you from?" He answered turning it into a question. He said he was from Thailand, I wonder if he is Taeil's son. After all, I did recall my father saying that his son was in Thailand. "Busan, it's in the south." I replied smiling. He nodded. "Ahh, my Korean friend was from there. His name was Kris Lee, do you know of him by any chance?" He asked. My mind froze. He was friends with Kris? I presumed he meant my brother Kris. My expression faded to a sad one. "Yes I did. He was my brother. He was killed by the Americans." I replied. He became sad, I could tell. "Oh. That's such a shame. I really wanted to see him again. I missed him when he stopped talking to us." Us? Is he one of Kris' online friends? It hit me when I now recognized him as Kris' friend, alongside two others named Sorata and Lu. I quite liked them. I hadn't really met them. Kris always used to video chat with them. Lu quickly became my favourite of the trio. We got along so well, I eventually ended up video chatting with him too. Who would've known? Our cousin was Kris' online friend. I smiled. "You were one of Kris' online friends, right?" I said. I wanted to be sure. Ten nodded. "Yeah, you can say that." He laughed. I knew we'd get along. "Sorata and Lu are here too, if you wanted to know. Over there." He pointed to a couple of guys who were talking to Jay and Kwon. "Oh, it seems they already met my friends." I chuckled. He smiled. "Yeah, I guess so." He laughed. I smiled, then I began to think of Taeil. "Um, Ten... could I ask you a question?" I said. He looked at me. "Fire away." He replied. I looked at him, and his eyes saddened. "What's wrong?" He asked. "Nothing, it's just... what is your father's name?" I asked, he was confused as to why I wanted to know, but he smiled nervously. "Um... His name was Taeil Lee or something a rather. He was Korean, from Busan like you." He replied. I knew it. "Why?" He questioned. I looked at him. "Well, you see... Taeil is actually my father's brother... so he's my uncle... and well... that kind of makes you my cousin." I replied. He gasped a little, then looked to Lu and Sorata. "Hey guys!! I couldn't find our friend Kris, but I found his brother. And check this, he was actually my cousin!!!!" He exclaimed to the others. They were surprised. Even Kwon and Jay were quite surprised, Jay raised an eyebrow. "And how so?" He asked. Ten turned to me. "Explain." He said. I guess he obviously wasn't a talker, or couldn't find the words. "Well, Jay and Kwon would know him, but Ten's father is my uncle Taeil, who was brother to my father, Jungkook!" I explained. Jay and Kwon smiled. "So he's Taeil's son? I didn't know that Taeil had any kids. He doesn't seem like the type to have a family, and he never mentioned you." Jay commented. Ten raised his brow. "What do you mean? You knew my father?" He asked. Jay nodded. Kwon looked at him. "Let me rephrase that for you, we know your father. He's back at the Korean base." Kwon replied. Ten looked upset, and I ushered for the other two to stop talking about him. "I thought you already knew Taeil was alive." Jay said looking at Ten. The boy shrugged. "I barely knew him. We presumed he was killed after the first attacks. He went to the Korean army, and I never seen him since." He said, then looked to me. "Um... if we all make out alive... which I hope we do, um... could we... I mean, could I please meet him?" He asked. I smiled. "Of course you can, he's your father." I replied, putting an arm around his shoulder. "It's just... I actually presumed he was dead like my mother, but seems he isn't." Ten said. Dead like his mother? "You lost your mother too?" I asked. He nodded. Jay looked at him. "Sorry about that. But know that we know the feeling of losing our parents." He commented. Ten looked at us. "Nah, don't worry 'bout it. She died a long time ago." He said, then looked to Lu and Sorata. "So, how you guys been?"
We all eventually got ready to leave, we packed heaps of guns and bombs. I was a bit scared of packing bombs, even though there was no way they'd blow up right now. Suddenly a hand touched my shoulder. I jumped back slightly as Lu chuckled. "Calm down, lad! It's just me!" He laughed as he went to get on the jeep. I followed. I looked over to another jeep. Kwon, Sorata and Ten get on a different one. I looked to the front of the jeeps. A commander at the front was barking orders to everyone, then when he finally got to us I looked to his shoulder. He was from the Chinese army. "Alright! All of you listen up!! You lot are the sneak attackers!! I will be your group commander, and I'll tell you the plan once we get there, understood?" We all nodded, and he got into the driver's seat. I looked to Jay whom was sitting across from me. "Can't believe we are doing this!!" He exclaimed. I smiled. "Me too." Lu looked at me. "Say, do ya want to play a game?" He asked. We nodded. "Sure. What type of game?" I said. I hadn't played a game in a long time, and it reminded me of Siha. He smiled, and pointed. "It's called 'I Spy'. You played it before?" He said. Jay and I shook our heads. "Well, you choose something that you are looking at, and say 'I spy with my little eye something beginning with' and you say the first letter of that object. The rest of us have to guess what it is. The first person to get it right goes next." He exclaimed. We all nodded. "Alright, I'll go first." He said, then he began to scratch his chin. "I spy with my little eye something beginning with... hmm... B!" He exclaimed. I looked around. There was many buildings and they started with b. So, I decided to go with it. "Buildings!" Jay exclaimed. I frowned. That was my answer. "Correct! It's Jay's turn!" Lu chuckled. Jay looked around. "I spy with my little eye something beginning with R." He said. We carried on playing I spy for a long time, but we eventually fell asleep.
*Dream* Walking through a large meadow, I began to wonder where I was. So, I dropped down on the ground and I lay on my back. The grass was so soft! I moved my hand along the pillow like grass. The fresh smell of flowers was wafting through my nose. I then suddenly heard loud cheering, the scenery changed from the meadow to the city centre of Seoul. Many people were cheering and waving banners. A lot of them were shouting 'We won!' or 'Good riddance, Americans!' I looked to the podium on a large stage. 'And we have our dear friend Hansol to thank.' The person said. I walked to the stage. 'Kris?' I questioned. He was standing on the stage holding his hand out to me. 'We won, Hansol. The enemy isn't here anymore. We can be safe, and go home....' *End of Dream*
A large bump in the road made me wake up. I was crying, so I quickly rubbed my eyes. We drove for a rough hour or so more, and we stopped. The commander had gotten off. "Take a break lads." He said, looking at us as he opened the back of the jeep.
