*Hansol's POV*
We got in the truck. I was heartbroken. I didn't feel the need to be alive anymore. Jay wrapped his arm around my shoulder. "Hansol... We're sorry." He sobbed. I leaned against him. "It is okay, Jay. It's not any of your fault." I cried. I couldn't process what just happened properly. Then another person got into the truck. I looked up at him as the truck began to move. "Taeil... Where's my Dad?" I asked, crying. Taeil looked at me. "He's gone, Hansol." He replied, crying. I looked at him. "Where's Kris?" He asked. I cried more. Jay began to cry too. "He... Kris... He's dead." I replied. Taeil scurried over and sat on the bench next to me. "I guess I'm the only family you have now... right?" He muttered, putting his arm around me. I nodded. I couldn't believe it. A sudden thought came to me. Will I eventually die too? Will the war ever end? I looked to the floor, and cried some more. Then, Min-Min began to sing. I heard his voice. I looked up to Min-Min whom was singing quietly while looking to me from across the truck. He stopped and looked to me. He smiled. Taeil looked at him, and so did Jay and Kwon.
"Jigeum nal wirohane wanbyeokhan sesangeun eoptdago jasinege malhae nan jeomjeom nal biwogane eonjekkaji nae geot il sun eopseo keun baksugalchaega ireon naege mareul hae, ppeonppeonhi ni moksoril nopyeo deo meolli yeongwonhan gwangaegeun eoptdaedo nan noraehal geoya oneurui naro yeongwonhagopa yeongwonhi sonyeonigo sipeo nan Aah..."
Are you going to sing along, guys?" He questioned looking to Jay and Kwon. Jay shook his head, and Kwon smiled slightly. "Sure." Then they began:
"Forever we are young, narineun kkonip bi sairo hemaeeo dallineun I miro Forever we are young, neommeojyeo dachigo apado kkeuteopsi dalline kkumeul hyanghae Forever, ever, ever, ever kkum, huimang, jeonjin, jeonjin Forever, ever, ever, ever we are young. Weeks Later...
I sat in the new base on the bed. Laying down my head on the pillow, I realised this was the first time in weeks I actually got to sleep on an actual bed instead of Jay's shoulder. Not that I didn't like it, I didn't mind. Staring up at the ceiling I smiled slightly. I was glad to be alive. And we needed to stop this war. It needed to be over. I couldn't do it anymore. I couldn't let the enemy kill someone else I cared about. I quietly sat up and looked around the room. It was quiet without Siha and Kris. I looked down, then back up again. This base looked nicer than the others. The inside was quite fancy. Well, to me it was nice. I sighed loudly. "The base looks nice." I muttered aloud to myself. I heard someone snicker. "Sure thing, Hansol. The base looks just as much a dump as the last ones." Kwon replied. I hadn't realised they were all sitting in the corner until now. Kwon was drawing on the wall, Jay was sleeping and Min-Min was... I wasn't quite sure what Min-Min was doing he was laying on the floor with his feet up in the air against the far wall. His head was resting against the floor. Kwon didn't like being on the move all the time. He was a type of person who needed to be in one place, and it was hard for him to adjust to each new base we went to. I still couldn't understand how the enemy always found us. I wondered whether there was a tracking device in the tags that were attached to the ears of those who used to be prisoners of the enemy. I didn't think of the enemy as that smart, but it was possible. I decided to ask the others about my thought. "Do you think that there's tracking devices inside our tags on our ears, and that's the reason why the enemy keeps finding us?" I asked. The others just stared at me. I was beginning to think that it was a stupid idea. Suddenly Kwon ripped his tag off his ear, pulling apart the bottom of the ear lobe. "Kwon!!! What the heck?!" I shrieked. The other two ran over to him. He began to cry loudly. "Why'd you do that?!" I exclaimed. He was crying, and blood was going all over the floor. "I just want the enemy to leave us alone!" He cried. Jay put a cloth over Kwon's ear, hoping the blood would stop coming out. I looked to Jay. "We need to fight back." I said. They all looked at me with the same expression they did before. "Look, it might sound crazy, but the Koreans need to fight back against the enemy. If we keep running, they'll keep tracking us down and eventually we'll all be killed." I stood up, and faced them with a 'pep talk' pose. "Guys, I know you are all probably thinking we can't do it, but we can. What about our sister countries, eh? Wouldn't they come help us if we asked? What about the next generation? We can't just sit around doing nothing for the rest of our lives. The enemy is probably on their way to this base right now! They're probably planning to kill every last one of us!! Think of the innocent lives they'll destroy! We need to fight back, and take back our freedom! We can't just sit around and wait for them to kill us. Think of what they did to your families- your parents and your siblings! We need to avenge them!" When I finished, I felt confident. I wasn't sure if they were convinced until they all began to clap. "Hansol's right." Jay said. "We need to fight back, or this war will never end." He smiled. "I'm in, Hansol." Kwon replied, smiling slightly. Min-Min nodded. "Right. Let's think of a game plan!"
