*Hansol's POV*

We were almost finished the 'grand tour', and we headed back to the truck. "Wow! Your city must've been lovely to live in!" Min-Min exclaimed, skipping ahead. He was prancing along like a young deer heading to a meadow of fresh green grass. I chuckled slightly. Jay smiled. "We haven't been this happy in ages." He said. I smiled back, and looked to Kwon. Even he was smiling. "Yeah. And I want it to stay this way." I replied. Suddenly out of the corner of my eye, I saw some people. They were crouched behind some rubble, and aiming a gun. "Min-Min!!!! Watch out!!" I called, running ahead- pushing Min-Min out of the gunman's way. I heard the bang, and before I could do anything a large pain burst into my side. I screamed loudly. I had already been shot. It couldn't end this way. Min-Min was crying loudly and holding on to me. That's when I closed my eyes and fell unconcious.

I woke in a room. "Min-Min?" I muttered. I wanted to know if they were okay. I looked around. My wondering eyes then stopped on the person sitting by me. "Jay?" I mumbled. What was Jay doing here? My vision was now full, and I sat up. It hurt, but I wanted to take a better look at my surroundings. Jay collided with my body. His arms wrapped around me, and he pulled me in for a long hug. "Hansol! I am so glad you're okay!" He exclaimed. I smiled. His embrace was of what I felt safe in. Much like Kris. I wished Kris was here. And by here... I didn't exactly know where. Jay pulled away from our hug, and smiled. He looked to the brink of tears, and I felt guilty. "Where are Kwon and Min-Min?" I asked. He looked into my eyes. "They're fine." He replied. For some reason I didn't believe him. It felt as if he was keeping things from me. I wasn't going to ask, because he was possibly hurting- I could tell by his pained expression. "Where am I?" I asked. Well, I wasn't just going to sit here clueless of how I got here, and where I am. He looked down slightly. "We're at the Korean base." He replied. Our base? We made it? How? "Some guys brought us here after a man shot you." He continued. 'Some guys'? Who was he talking about? In attempt to get off the bed, he gestured for me not to. "I have to go see what's going on." I said, pushing Jay away from me. He stood, and held out his hand. "If you are, then let me help you." He exclaimed. I grabbed hold of his hand, and he helped me up. My knees were a little wobbly, but I was sure I could walk. We headed out the room, and down the hallway. "Can you take me to Min-Min and Kwon?" I asked. He nodded, and took hold of my hand. We walked down about three different long hallways until we reached a room. He opened the door and gestured for me to go in. I walked in the room to see Min-Min lying on a bed on the opposite side of the room, curled up in a ball with Kwon sitting by him on a chair, drawing on some paper. "Min-Min?" I mumbled walking toward him. He sat up, and looked to us. "Hansol!!" He cried loudly running toward me. I bent down to near his height as he collided with me. His short arms wrapped themselves around my waist. "I was so worried!!! I thought that man killed you!!" He yelled. I pulled him closer into a tight hug. Kwon walked over quickly, joining in our hug. This was the first time Kwon had shown he actually cared. It was a first. Suddenly, Jay joined in our hug. I looked at him. "What? Am I not allowed to join the group hug?" He questioned. I shook my head. "No, it's fine." I replied smiling. Suddenly the door opened again. We all disbanded our hug and looked toward the door. A tall man walked in, one whom I recognised. "How are you doing Hansol?" He asked smiling. Min-Min and Kwon were hiding behind me, Jay was growling lowly. What was wrong with them? Jay stepped forward. "How dare you try talk to Hansol, after what you did to him!?" Jay yelled at the man. I looked to him. He glared at me. "I'm deeply sorry. When you were going toward that enemy truck, I..." He started. "Don't make excuses!!!" Jay yelled, then looked to me. "He shot you Hansol. Our own side shot you." Jay exclaimed, he was very angry. I moved passed Jay. "Is it true? Did you shoot me?" I asked. The man nodded. "Leave." I said. The man stood forward, holding his hand out. "Leave, now. I don't want anything to do with you, Jungkook. Leave me alone." I said, hitting his hand away. "You turn up out of nowhere, and asked for our kindness to you. I decline it. I hope your other son does too." I continued, walked over to Min-Min. Jungkook was speechless. "Hansol... I'm sorry I..." His voice began to crack. "I thought you'd understand. Kris has already disowned me." He said. I turned to him. "Good. Now leave, or I'll have my friend force you to." I said to him. He turned, opened the door and left. It hurt my heart to do that to him. He yelled at me before I was kidnapped for reading a book, didn't bother to come look for me and he shot me! I didn't want him in my life anymore. The mention of Kris' name made me upset. Jay put his hand on my shoulder. "You know that guy?" He questioned. I nodded, my eyes began to sting. "Yes. I... He..." I couldn't say anything. What was I going to tell them? My own father shot me. I know that Jay wouldn't hurt anyone here unless they caused harm to any of us, but I couldn't let him hurt Jungkook. He shot me, yes. He yelled at me, yes. But he is my father, and I don't want Ryeowook to be disappointed in me. I looked to Min-Min, who had sat on his bed again. "Is that man going to shoot us too?" He asked. I shook my head. "No." I replied. "I'll never let anyone hurt you, Min-Min. You understand? I'll never let anyone hurt any of you." They all smiled. Jay looked at the time. "It's getting later than I thought, we should get some rest." He said, walking over to a bunk on the other side of the room. Kwon headed over with Jay. "Hansol, this bed is your bed. I was staying here because I missed you." Min-Min said, pointing to the bed he was sitting on. He then stood and climbed up to the top bunk. It was going to be a long night. I walked over to my bed and sat down. I lay down. "Good night, Min-Min, Kwon and Jay."

I woke to Min-Min's morning song he used to sing at the enemy base. I sat up rubbing my eyes. He was skipping around the room, laughing happily. He was singing loudly. Actually, let me rephrase that. He was singing really loudly. "Min-Min, that's enough!! I'm trying to sleep!!" Jay growled loudly. I chuckled as I stood. Min-Min turned to me with his puppy dog look. "Hey, maybe we can go for a walk." I suggested. He smiled widely. "Yes please!!!" He exclaimed. He ran to the door happily, opening it. I immediately followed him, laughing slightly. "Hey, wait up!" I said, holding out my hand. He stopped running when he was half way down the hall. He stood and waited as I caught up. We then walked down the rest of the hall, side by side. "Is your family here, Hansol?" He asked, looking up at me. I looked to him and nodded. "Only my brother and father. I saw my father yesterday, but I haven't seen my brother yet." I replied. He nodded, then his eyes widened. "T-That man that shot you, was that...?" He began to say. I nodded again. "Yeah. He's my father." I said, sighing. We were walking for a little while, and talking about his family. He hadn't really told me about his life before the attacks, and it interested me. He was from Gwanju, and he was an only child. His parents were killed during the first attacks. I felt like crying, but he smiled as he looked up at me again. He assured me not to cry. "It's okay, it was a long time ago." He said. "And besides, Jay, Kwon and you are my family now!" He exclaimed. I smiled. I was honoured that he thought of my like that. I haven't even been there for a long time! "I'm not part of your family!! I haven't known you as long as the other two. And besides, the others act like family more to you." I chuckled, he gasped slightly. "Of course you are part of it, you are like a brother to me. Same with the others. I'm heart-broken that you think that way!" He replied, holding his hand to his heart. I smiled widely. I didn't know he felt that way. Me like a brother? No one has ever said that before. It was the first time someone has called me brother since I last saw Kris. Though, I never had a little brother before. Min-Min was an amazing kid. He looked away as we were walking, then started humming a song. I began humming to the tune, as I had recognised it. He looked at me again. "You know 'Young Forever'?" He asked. I nodded. "It's a song my mother sang all the time." I replied, he smiled. "Mine did too." He said, he started waving his fingers humming it again. Then he began to sing the words.

"Forever we are young, narineun kkonip bi sairo hemaeeo dallineun I miro Forever we are young, neommeojyeo dachigo apado kkeuteopsi dalline kkumeul hyanghae!"

He sang the last line with a beautiful voice, covering his face a little, he looked at me with red cheeks, and I chuckled a little. "You're a pretty good singer." I said, playfully messing up his hair. He smiled. "Really?" He exclaimed. I nodded, "Yeah! You'd have all the girls after you." I said, he chuckled. "Not likely." He laughed and I turned slightly, smiling. "Maybe we should go back, Jay will be worrying." I said. He turned too. "Yeah. He can be a worry wort sometimes." Before we reached the last hall toward our dorm, the hall was flashing with bright, eye hurting red lights. Min-Min covered his eyes, and screamed. Suddenly, the sirens were going off. We both immediately looked to each other. "Stay here, I'll go back for Jay and Kwon!" I yelled. He grabbed my shirt as I turned to leave. "Min-Min..." I turned to him. He was crying, and shook his head. "I can't let you go!" He cried. I grabbed his arm, and we ran to our dorm. "Kwon!!! Jay!!" I yelled as I saw them on the other side of the hall. They both stopped and let us catch up. As soon as we were at least half a meter to them, Jay turned and began running again. Kwon waited till we were with him before he began running again. We got to where the trucks were, and I heard someone shouting. "Hansol!!" They yelled. "Hansol!!!" They yelled again. I turned to where it was coming from. I saw Kris and Siha standing on the other side of the room, they were staring right at me. I shook my head and mouthed the words 'I'm Sorry'. Before they could reply, I turned and followed my friends onto the truck.
