*Kris' POV*
"Why didn't you tell me?" Jungkook asked, looking down at me. I glanced up at him. I was hungry, and I didn't want to talk to him right now. I looked at the two crumpets in my hands. I felt guilt. I didn't even bother saying it nicely. I just yelled it. "Kris, what didn't you tell him?" Hansol asked. I hadn't realised he was still there. His eyes were innocent. Way too innocent to be dragged into this. I then heard a grumbling sound. He looked at me smiling, then chuckled slightly. "Did you not eat?" I asked him, changing the subject. He looked to his stomach, rubbing it with his hand. He shook his head. "No, I gave my crumpets to one of the other people in our group. They were starving." He replied. Still ignoring our father who was still standing there, I gave Hansol my crumpets. "Kris, I can't take these." He said, attempting to give them back. "No. You need to eat, I am not hungry." I said, kissing his forehead. "You need to be strong, and healthy." I continued. He needed it. I mean, this kid was so skinny and small- I swear it someone could break is arm in half. Or maybe I wasn't used to seeing thin people. The others in our group didn't look 'starving'. They were all decent sized. I have no idea why he gave someone else his crumpets in the first place. "And so do you." Our father said. I looked up at him. What? Why did he say that? He knelt down in front of us. "Here, Hansol, have mine." He said, giving Hansol his crumpets. "No, you need to eat too." I said as Hansol gave me back my crumpets. "You and your brother need them more than I do." My father replied, walking away. I was about to say something else, and I think he was upset about what I said earlier. He sat on the other side of the room next to Taeil, and started chatting away. I squeezed Hansol tighter, and started eating my crumpets. Man, they were quite nice. "Kris... do you think- we should tell him about Ryeowook and Ma?" Hansol asked, quietly stuffing his mouth with the crumpets Dad had given him. I am still not used to the idea of calling him 'Dad' though. "No... I already told him." I replied. "Oh. Is that why he's a little sad?" Hansol asked. I nodded in response.
