*Hansol's POV*
I woke, and I was in a place not like the old base. I don't even know where I am. "Hansol?" A faded voice said, with a hint of shock in their voice. Where was that voice? I suddenly realized I was in the park that was down the road from our house. Ma took me here all the time when I was a kid. She said it was where she met Dad. I touched my stomach where I knew the bullet hit me. I was confused. Am I dead? I can't be dead. I don't want to be dead. I have to go back. "Hello?" I called out. Maybe the voice from a moment ago will help me. "Hansol, is that you?" The now clear and familiar voice questioned. I turned around quickly. Two familiar faces came into view. One was a woman in an over-sized shirt and jeans. Her long dark brown hair was tied in a bun. The other was a young boy. He looked like a young version of my father. His hair was done in a bowl cut, his eyes were deep brown like the lady. "Ma? Ryeowook?" I questioned looking into their faces. I didn't know if it was, I could barely remember what they both looked like. The nodded. My mother put her hands to her face, crying. Now I knew that I was dead. "No!! I don't want to be dead!!!" I screamed loudly, grasping my hair. I didn't want to be dead. Ryeowook ran over. "Hansol, listen to me-" He began to say, reaching his hand out to me. "No!!! Kris needs me!! I can't be dead! Do you not understand?!" I shouted, hitting his hand away. I was glad to see him, and Ma, but I don't want to be dead. I want to be alive, and with Kris. I looked at Ryeowook. He seemed hurt. "No, Ryeowook, I'm sorry... it's just-" I cried. How can I even hurt dead people? "I understand, Hansol." Ryeowook replied. I was confused. "What?" I questioned. Looking at him. "You don't want Kris to be alone, I get that." He explained. "I was like that too, then I realised you weren't dead. So, I just left it. Besides, my place wasn't on Earth. I have been watching, and so has Ma." He said, putting his hands on my shoulders. I looked to Ma. She just nodded, confirming what he said. How creepy. Dead people watching me.
"That's a little stalker-ish, Ryeowook." I said aloud. He chuckled. "I know, I know. But, I know you don't belong here. That's why I asked to send you back." He said. I looked at him. Can he do that? "Wait... you'll really send me back?" I questioned. He nodded. "Oh, and before you go, say hi to Kris and Dad for me, alright?" I nodded excitedly. I couldn't believe this, I was going to live. Suddenly, I fell. Then my world went black for a second time.
A jolt of pain shot through my body. I knew I was back when my eyes snapped open and I could see my father sleeping against my chest. I looked to where he was. "D-Dad??" I croaked. I don't think he heard me he was still sleeping, so I shook his head with my hand. "Dad?!" I croaked again. He was mumbling, then his eyes slowly opened. Wow. He did look a lot like Ryeowook. I can confirm that too. The only difference was the eye colour. He suddenly gasped. "Hansol you're- Kris!!" He yelled, suddenly getting up and running out the door. I could hear him yelling my brother's name. Kris. A tear rolled down my cheek. "I don't know if you can hear this but, thank you Ryeowook." I mumbled, looking to the ceiling. The door suddenly flung open. I sat up slightly. I was in pain, but I needed to show them I was alive. My brother came running to me, and collided with my body. "Hansol, don't do that to me again." He cried, digging his face into my shoulder. "Ryeowook says 'hi'." I replied. He pulled away slightly, then kissed my forehead. "Y-You saw... Ryeowook?" He questioned looking at me. I nodded. "Yes. He was the one who sent me back." I replied. Kris pulled me in for another hug. I looked to the door to see my father, Siha and Taeil there. "Oh, hi Siha." I muttered. Siha quickly darted across the room, and joined in on mine and Kris' hug. I am glad to be alive.
