*Hansol's POV*

As I got off the jeep, I looked behind me to make sure Jay was there. He put his hand on my shoulder as we followed the other soldiers. I began to wonder if this was going to be a victory as well. I also wondered about the other troops in the other groups. Were they going to win? Or were we going to die like Lu? We travelled carefully through the broken buildings, quietly and on our toes. The commander was in the lead with a huge gap between us and him. He kept on giving weird hand signals I didn't understand, but I just followed what everyone else was doing. Then, we saw them. The enemy. They were a few feet away from us. The commander gave another signal. The same one he used when we began to fire last time. I crawled to cover beside Jay, and put my gun over the small crumbled wall. We began to fire. The bullets flew toward the enemy, penetrating their skins. We could hear screaming, then bullets began to fly at us and against the wall. A bullet penetrated the wall, causing a hole beside my shoulder. It scraped against my flesh, and I could feel it stinging. In immediate response to the bullet, I dropped down and clutched my hand to shoulder. I took my hand off to look at how much I was bleeding, and there was blood dripping down onto the ground. It covered my hand, and dripped off the edge of my palm onto the dirty ground. It stung, and I was sure I wasn't going to get it treated anytime soon. I picked up my gun again, and stuck it through the hole the bullet had made. Reloading my gun, I began to rapid fire again. It was painful to hold the gun up as it shook under my hands, and I dropped it again as another bullet came through the wall. This one hit just beside the other, but scraped a deeper cut. This one hurt more than the other, and I felt myself beginning to breathe hard. "J-Jay..." I mumbled as I leaned against the wall looking at him. I don't think he noticed that I was hit, until he pulled back to reload. He quickly reloaded, and began to put his gun back over the wall. He glanced to me, and his eyes widened in shock. "J-Jay.... I... I'm h-hit..." I muttered as he dropped his gun beside me. He was in a state of panic as he leaned forward to look at my wounds. He began to cry slightly. I could see his tears fall down his face, and they dripped onto the ground beside me. "No! You can't be hit!" He exclaimed loudly. He put his hand on my face. "You can't be hit!" He cried loudly as he attempted to cover my wound. He ripped a part of his jacket off his arm and covered my wounds. I began to cry too. "Y-You have t-to..." I began to say something, but I could hear another bullet coming through the wall. I waited for it to hit me. I waited for the same feeling I have felt twice before. I closed my eyes and waited for it to hit me. I wanted to die this time. It didn't come. I was confused. Then, I felt the weight of something land against my chest. I slowly opened my eyes. Jay had collapsed against me, holding his stomach and his head resting against me chest. I put my hand over his hand slowly. I pulled my hand away and looked at the blood dripping off and onto the ground. "N-No... J-Jay!!!!" I cried loudly putting my hand back over his wound. He looked up at me slowly. He was still crying and blood was dripping out his mouth. "Is... t-this... how it's g-going... to end?" He muttered coughing. Was it? I shook my head. I refused to believe he was going to die. I couldn't let him die. "N-No! It w-won't end like t-this!! W-We can't d-die like t-this! I w-want to g-grow old a-and... and... I w-want to live a long l-life with you!" I sobbed, holding my hand over his stomach. I could feel his breathing slowing down. "T-thank... you... H-Hansol... I..." His eyes closed. "No...." I muttered. I sat there staring at him as I could hear the bullets hitting the wall behind my back. Then, they stopped. I looked up to the others as they started to cheer. I closed my eyes slowly. The cheering was loud and clear. Did... did we win?
