Chapter 42

Lilly's POV

Bailey has been missing for 3 days no, it's hell without and don't get me started on the nightmares

Right Now I'm at the police station with Grayson, were sitting in the sergeant office as they talk to us together

"Mr. And Mrs. Dolan we are trying everything in our power to find your son" a detective says

"Um we're not married" I say

"Sorry" he apologize

"So why you called us here?" Grayson asked

"We've gone through the evidence and there was no force entrance on the door and the windows was not tampered with" he says

"What are you saying?" I asked

He sighed

"Are you suspecting one of us did something to Bailey?" Grayson asked

"I'm just asking Lilly you we're in the apartment and Grayson has a key" he says

"This is crazy we would never harm our baby" I say

"Listen I'm just throwing ideas around, what your friend, Charles?" He asked

"What Charlie?" I asked

"No, I knew him since I was in 8th grade he's not capable of anything like this" I say

"Are you sure?" He asked

"Yes" I say

The detective stood itching the back of his head sighing

"Listen, you said that you would do everything in your power to find my son, so why don't you do your fucking job and find my son" I say standing up

"Lilly he does have a point, it's weird how charlie came around and next then you know Bailey went missing" Grayson says

"I know Charlie, he wouldn't do that" I say

Grayson stood and looked out the window, he sees Charlie talking to a police officer

Grayson walks out of the office and towards Charles

"You son of a bitch!" Grayson growled 

"Grayson!" I say following him

He grabs Charlie and pushed him against a desk

"You took my fucking son!" Grayson yelled

"Yo Grayson calm down" Charlie says

"Grayson let him go!" I say

Police started to pull Grayson away from Charlie, once the police was holding Grayson back I helped Charlie up

"What did you do with my son?!" Grayson yelled

"Nothing, Grayson I didn't take your son, I promise you" Charlie says

"Promise my ass" Grayson says

"You don't believe I'll take a lie detector test" Charlie says

Charlie is in the interrogation room, Grayson and I watched through a two way mirror

Charlie is hooked up the machine and they started asking him questions

"Is your name Charles White?"

"Yes" Charlie says

"are you from San Diego, California?"

"Yes" Charlie says

"Did you kidnapped Bailey?"

"No" Charlie says

"Did help kidnapped Bailey?"

"No" Charlie says

When the test was over a detective came to talk to us about the result

"He was telling the truth, he did not kidnapped Bailey or helped" he says

I look at Grayson as he bowed his head, he walked out of the room

"But Ms. Gilinsky we will find your son" he says

"Come on let's go" I say to Charlie as we held hands walking to the parking lot
