"Come, Gamzati," Gomfalion said. "Come and help me. Together we can do this. Together."

Gamzati clenched her teeth as tears began to stream down her face. "No... NO! This isn't you!"

She raised her sword in attempt to cut him, but Gomfalion's eyes began to glow purple once again...

He quickly unsheathed his sword and stabbed Gamzati in the stomach.

"No!" Gamzati said, struggling to breathe. "Y-you... you can't!"

"I tried so many times, warned you more than I could," Gomfalion said. "but you were too stubborn to realize."

"G-Gomfalion... I..." Gamzati stuttered as she began to lose her breath. "I... wish you luck. D-destroy Drakath... It's what we both... wanted."

Gamzati pulled herself closer as the sword stabbed her deeper. She wrapped her arms around Gomfalion in a tight embrace, but Gomfalion quickly denied, pushing her away. He retracted his sword from Gamzati's body. As she breathed her last breath, she fell backwards and had fallen down the tower.

"I miss the people we used to be," Gomfalion said. He turned around and began to fly, off to face Drakath.

Back on the surface, the armies continued to push each other as the fair battle proceeded.

"Warriors of the alliance!" Kitri announced. "Nothing's happening! COME ON! PUSH THEM BACK!"

"Kitri!" Gonvar called. "Gomfalion's off to face Drakath! What happened to Gamzati?"

"Oh no," Kitri frowned.

"Go to the tower!" Gonvar commanded. "You have to check on her."

Kitri ran to the tower. She approached the entrance, and she noticed a body laying down in front of the door. She kneeled in front of it and turned it around.

"Oh... No... No no no no!" Kitri panicked. "Gamzati! Wake up! Listen to me! Wake up!"

There was no reply. Kitri noticed the stab mark on Gamzati's stomach. Kitri hang her head and tears began to fall from her eyes.

"No..." Kitri cried. "She's gone... Damn it."

She stood up and took Gamzati's iron sword. "There's no time to mourn for her. I have to get back there."

As she had gone back, she noticed the alliance managed to push the chaos forces back.

"Chaos legion!" a general said. "Fall back! Fall back! General Gomfalion is about to face Drakath and we are outnumbered! Retreat!"

"That's a wrap," Chizet said. "Let them run."

"Guys, guys!" Kitri called.

"Yes? What's this?" Gravelyn asked.

"We lost Gamzati."

"WHAT?" the crowd said in unison.

"Gomfalion killed her," Kitri said. "Now he's off to face Drakath."

Gravelyn held back her tears. "As much as we would like to, we have no time to mourn for Gamzati. Continue. We have to get back to Shadowfall before Gomfalion attempts to defeat Drakath."

"Let's go!" Chizet said. "Back to Shadowfall! And bring Gamzati's body! There we will bury her"

A few of the soldiers picked up her body and wrapped it in cloth. They put her in a chariot and they tied it to two horses.

"Now, let's go back!" Chizet announced. "And stay away from the dragon's sight!"
