Me and Soda started heading back downstairs.

It's still my birthday and you know they told me I could pick whatever theme I wanted.

We usually have the birthday party themed after cake and presents.

And look at that the cake has been eaten and the gifts are unwrapped.

Darry asked me a couple weeks ago about my themed party and I told him I wanted it to be a surprise.

I really only said that because I didn't know what theme I wanted at the time.

I turned to Darry as he was sitting in his old recliner chair.

I smiled and asked, "Darry, is it almost time for my surprise party, yet?"

He smiled back at me and said, "I think it's time."

We gathered up the gang in separate cars as we drove down to where the party was being held.

Me, Dally, and Clayton sat in the back. Me in the middle was kind of happy.

I've got my best friend and my future boyfriend sitting beside me.

Clayton looked at me and asked, "What theme do you think Darry chose?"

I shrugged and said, "I'm not sure."

Clayton said, "What if it's an alien themed party oooooooh."

I asked, "What's an alien themed party?"

Clayton answered, "Oh, its just when the birthday girl/boy gets to have a laser gun and the guests have to wear alien masks and the birthday girl/boy gets a mission from NASA to destroy all aliens and you have to shoot us with your laser gun."

After he said that the whole ride to my surprise birthday themed party,

Me and Clayton pretended we were at an alien themed party shooting each other with

Finger guns.

Hey, it may sound stupid and ridiculous, but you try it with your friend.

Dally just sat there bored out of his mind rolling his eyes.

Yeah, did I mention he changed?

Yeah, he's become the stage where he's a bad boy, rebel.

What happened was that he met a girl named Silvia and a guy named Buck.

They really changed him and now he feels as if he has to be tough.

But that kind of rep is hard to keep at just age 14.

Finally we arrived, the building we stopped at throws all the best parties ever.

I was the first one to walk (run) inside.

When I did, I gasped at excitement as I saw the theme.

"Cowboy and Indians"

Except this party will have a Cowgirl!

The person that owned the place came out from a little bar they set up.

He always has this character to make the party come to life.

This year he was the sherif:

He asked me, "Now, miss I ain't looking for no scary cat."

I couldn't help but giggle.

I said, "I am no scared cat, sir!"

He replied, "And I'm not looking for no nervous wreck alright?"

I answered, "No nervous wreck here, sir!"

He said, "Im looking for a cowgirl the one that can round up the Indians."

I said, "I will do that for you, sir!"

He replied, "Are you ready to be a cowgirl?"

I answered, "Sir, yes, Sir!"

He smiled and made me follow him to the changing room.

He gave me a dress that fit my size, a super cute hat and boots, a necklace, and a jacket to go over it all:

I looked in the mirror astonished!

I was a real cowgirl.

He gave me one of those horses on a stick which was pretty fun to act out:

When I came out from the dressing room, the sherif was on the bar stool.

As I looked over my shoulder, I saw the whole gang and Clayton dressed as Indians. They were all spread out.

I couldn't help but crack a smile.

They all had brown clothing with feather hats, and Dally looked like he didn't like it but I'm glad he did it for me.

I muttered under my breath, "This town isn't big enough for the eight of us."

I rode around on my "horse", rounding all the Indians up bringing them to the sheriff.

It was really fun.

The owner/sheriff kneeled down because I was so short and said,

"Why little miss, you brought all the Indians to me and because of that I reward you."

He took off his (plastic) badge and said, "You are now, top sheriff in town."

I hugged him and said, "Thank you, Sher....Towns folk."

He smiled while walking to the changing room to get dressed.

I smiled when he closed the door and hugged Darry.

I said, "Thank you, Darry, so much!"

Darry said, "Don't thank me, Soda helped out to pay for this place to."

I jumped on Soda's lap as he was talking with Steve.

I said, "Thank you soooo much!"

He smiled and said, "Did you have a good time, Princess?"

I nodded and said, "The best time! This was the best birthday party ever!"

He kissed my forehead and hugged me.

Eventually, we all had to get dressed and leave.

But the owner let me keep my sheriff badge.

This was the best day ever!
