Life with Two-bit

We pulled up to what I'm guessing is my actual house.

I excitedly opened the door and let Champ outside.

I said to myself, "I know this place."

Everything hit me: The night I ran away from home and came here with Champ.

Then, I flew to New York where I became a famous model.

I said out loud by accident, "I've been here."

My dad gave me a confusing look as I looked around the outside of the house.

I walked inside and looked at all the pictures I had once seen before.

I then heard soft singing coming from the kitchen.

I slowly looked around the corner of the staircase and into the kitchen.

Two-bit came through the door and asked, "What're you doing."

I jumped because he startled me and whispered, "There's someone in there."

He smiled while silently laughing as he took the lead walking into the kitchen.

There was this lovely woman with beautiful dark brown hair.

She had a smile that made me smile and an angelic face.

The thing I noticed the most was the ring on her left hand.

She smiled at both of us:

She looked at us but went to Two-bit first.

She kissed his lips and said, "I'm so glad your back."

I looked at him confused and walked out of the kitchen and on the front porch.

I've been here for less then 5 minutes and I already have a new mom.

Two-bit soon came outside and sat beside me.

He didn't say anything and for awhile it was really quiet.

Then, I asked him, "Dad, how could you?"

He looked at me and said, "Sabrina-"

I cut him off finishing my question, "How could you ever think that, that woman could ever replace my mother?"

He touched my chin with his pointer finger bringing me to make eye contact with him.
