As we were all driving home, I noticed the same dog laying in the graveyard.

I immediately yell, "Darry, Stop the car!"

He pulls over on the side of the road, and so does the car behind us.

He turns around looking at me and asks, "What is it, Scar."

I hopped out of his truck with Soda close behind me.

I checked both sides of the road before running to the other side.

The graveyard was empty as always.
Gray and Old.

The dog had beautiful white skin, but he looked old from his nose.

He was very skinny and very bony, but I noticed he had a collar.

I looked at it and read out loud, "Champ"

I turned around to see everyone staring at me.

I've seen this dog here before many times and quite frankly it's kind of sad.

I looked at the grave Champ was sitting on and read out loud again,

"Dixie Michelle Merrill
1965-1985"

Dixie Merrill...

Where have I heard that name before.

A flashback just BAM went into my head

--------------------------------------------

A doctor came back and handed someone a baby, "Congratulations, to your new baby girl."

The woman had long brown hair and she was really pretty.

She looked at Two-bit and smiled.

I thought to myself-oh my gosh that's Two-bit!

She whispered to her daughter, "Welcome to the world Sabrina Faith Mathews."

--------------------------------------------

I came back to reality so fast I fell over on my back.

I muttered, "Woah"

What was that? A sign?

I looked back at Champ as another flash back came to me.

--------------------------------------------

It was me, my mom, and my dad this time!

Mom said, "Hunny, we're going to go to the graveyard and visit an old good friend of ours."

They both looked at each other in worry.

I said, "Ok." At that moment, I hear "Oh, everybody, it's Champ!"

--------------------------------------------

I said out loud by accident, "Champ, Champ I remember you!"

He could barely hold his head up high.

I said, "It's me, Champ, its me, Scar!"

Champ sniffed my hand as I saw his tail wag.

Yes, he remembers me hopefully.

I just can't remember who this Dixie girl is or why we would visit her.

I turned around to see everyone looking at each other worried.

I asked, "What's wrong?"

Ponyboy answered, "Nothing, now let's get Champ in the car I bet he's starving."

Soda, and Steve went and picked Champ up.

He looked so poor, it really made me sad.

He looked over Steve's shoulder and started whimpering.

Steve patted his head and whispered, "I know, Champ, we miss Dixie to."

Well, he was trying to whisper it, but I heard what he said.

Who's Dixie and why does nobody want to tell me anything?

Thanks for Reading!
I hope you enjoyed this chapter and are excited for the ones to come! Who is Dixie? Do you think she will remember or what do you think she's not going to?
