Pony was sleeping on the other side of the bed.

I couldn't sleep.

All I felt was pain.

I crept up out of bed quickly remembering the letter Scar had given me.

I pulled it out of my jean pocket and easily turned on the lamp light.

I could still hear Pony softly snoring.

I hesitantly opened up the letter, my eyes already filling up with tears as I read:

"Dear Sodapop,

I honestly don't know where to start, Soda.

I think you know you've been more of my friend then anyone else in the world.

How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.

And it's not the goodbye that hurts but the flashbacks that follow.

I love you so much, Soda.

You have been one of the greatest friends in my entire life.

Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.

Goodbye may seem forever
Farewell is like the end

But in my heart is a memory
And there you'll always be.

Soda, you will always be remembered in my heart.

If you open this envelope a little bit wider I kept a surprise in here for you.

I stopped reading the letter and regrabbed the envelope and found this:

A blue heart shaped locket with spindles all around it.

I opened it up to find the first ever picture that Pony took of me and Scar.

I closed the locket and returned back to the letter

I know this letter has to come to an end and I'm sad to say goodbye.

So let me say before we part, so much of me is made from what I learned from you.

You'll be with me, like a handprint in my heart.

To Infinity And Beyond!

Love,

Well

I turned the page over and saw she ended it with that.

I opened the locket back up again and my fingers began to shake.

And tears were flowing over my cheeks.

I love her so much.
