Alright this is semi-similar to the last one because I actually wrote it before the other one, or more like started it but still 😂

This one will be in 3rd person, which begs the question: Do y'all prefer 1st person writing or 3rd? Or is either fine?Anyway, here we go...

Jack had always loved space, so when flying around in space became a casual thing, he was extremely elated to go into space. That is, until he crashed.

His engine had given out and his ship had hurtled into the ground with him inside. He was quite a few yards away from its broken form. He didn't really know how he was still alive, or how he'd get back to Earth.

He'd gotten away from the impact with no more than a few cuts, scrapes, and bruising, which stood out immensely on his pale skin. His arm had it the worst; it was black from bruising and sent pain through him at the slightest touch.

He looked around the area. It was very similar to Earth, as far as the plants went. The only difference was the size; they were 10 times bigger than what was normal to Jack. He seemed to be in a field with trees.

Using those facts, he was likely on Deh, home of the Dehnian race: the humanoid giants that were rumored to be about as kind as a heartless monster. He personally thought they were false, but just to be safe, he wanted to get off of the planet quickly on the chance the rumors were true.

He stood up, feeling the ground shaking beneath his feet. He shuddered at the thought of one of the colossal beings grabbing him and being able to do whatever they wanted to him.

A loud thud accompanied by shaking made him jump and turn his attention to one of the beings who lived on this planet. He was wearing a blue collared shirt with navy stripes and jeans.

His face was twisted into an agonized expression, his hazel eyes only further pushing the fact that he was in pain. His left arm was bent into an unnatural angle.

It was broken.

Jack put away his fear and approached the giant teen. If he was hurt, he needed help. If the rumors about these creatures just so happened to be true, well... He could only hope that wasn't the case.

"U-um.. Are ye okay?" He asked with as much confidence as he could muster when he got right next to the giant face.

The colossal being turned their gaze toward him, causing Jack to take a few cautious steps back.

"W-wait, d-d-don't go.. I m-mean... Youcanifyouwantbutit'dbenicetohave someonearound."

Jack tried to process what he'd said quickly before simply nodding.

"S-Sorry.. I-I don't t-talk to people very much. I've learned to slam on the brake before I even turn the key, before I make a mistake, before I lead with the worst of me." The teen managed to get out a little smoother.

"It's alright, lad. Just relax." Jack gave him a smile, his fear gone.

The injured giant obviously didn't mean him any harm. He would help him get better.

~Timeskip ahead about 6 months or so~

"Evan, I think I've finally fixed it."

Jack smiled at his fixed ship. He could get back to Earth and his life there. Everyone probably assumed him dead, so he'd have to explain what had happened. While he was at it, he may as well stop the rumors about the inhabitants being cruel; everyone he'd met had been kind and more than willing to help him get back to Earth safely.

"That's great!" But I'll miss you, Jack. Evan added silently.

Jack smiled up at him and boarded his ship after giving Evan a farewell 'hug'.

"I'll come and visit ye if I can." Jack promised as the engines fired up.

As he accelerated towards the sky, they were both waving at each other.

Waving through a window.

741 words!

Just a quick thing because I already had like half of it written if not more..

I really want to do what I did in "Giant Grumps" and involve the reader, so leave a character description if you'd like to be featured. :)

Thanks for reading~
