Nate had been recording a video when everything had gone black. When he opened his eyes, everything was larger than him and he was in an unfamiliar place. Cages were suspended in the air above him-- gigantic cages that he had a sinking feeling about.

He swallowed nervously and stood up, walking around on the tiled flooring he was on, looking desperately for an exit. If he could contact Morgan, she could help him get home and back to normal size. Maybe the person who lived here could help him?

That was his first mistake.

"Hey!" He called up to the towering being, stepping back when she turned her attention to him. "I was wondering if-"

He was cut off as tree trunk sized fingers wrapped roughly around his shrunken figure and he struggled to breathe. His arms were pinned painfully to his sides.

"Perfect timing~" The girl's sadistic tone in her voice washed over him and sent chills down his spine. "Time for some revenge, I think~"

"Revenge? For wh-"

He was again cut off as the grip tightened further.

"Don't play dumb." She hissed.

He didn't even know this girl and she seemed to hold some personal vendetta against him. His vision spotted black and darkened from oxygen deprivation until unconsciousness claimed him.

--

By the time Nate came to, he was laying on something cold and metallic. His vision focused to see dark metal bars around him. He shivered as he stood up and slowly made his way to the edge of the cage.

He was in one of the caves he had seen earlier--the ones suspended from the ceiling.

"Look who's awake~"

The voice made him shudder and he jumped back when he saw her approaching him. He swallowed nervously, backing away as much as he could as her narrowed eyes filled with a maniacal gleam watched him from just outside the imprisonment.

Massive fingers gripped the cage and he yelped as the entire cage moved. He could estimate that he was about the size of her pinkie finger, which was unsettling when she seemed to despise him. But what had he done? He didn't remember ever doing anything to her, but she mentioned revenge.

He snapped out of his thoughts as the cage was placed roughly on a desk, jolting him. His heartbeat sped up further as the door of the metal enclosure opened with a squeaking creak.

He cringed from the noise and shied away from the face leaning in. She obviously didn't care for his well-being; he was in a cage for goodness sake!

He turned away as a hand came towards him, dread filling his stomach as the back of his shirt was pinched and he was half-dragged, half-lifted out of the cage. As he was dangled in front of her face, his stomach squirmed, feeling her eyes scan his minuscule form.

"What did I ever do to you?" He managed to get out.

She tsked and bopped him roughly with her finger, ignoring his question entirely.

"Let's have some fun~"

--

He was back in his cage, battered and bruised. She hadn't been gentle at all while 'transporting' him and she even dropped him, which he was reminded of by the pain in his leg. She had said they weren't so different earlier; that they were the same.

"Maybe one day you'll find humanity.. until then don't you dare say that we are the same." He sang softly to pass the time.

A shadow fell over him and he whimpered, not wanting to be hurt anymore. He felt so tired.

"Oh my god, Nathan? Is that you?" That sounded like-

He finally unshielded his face so he could see the source of the voice. It was! It was Morgan.

"Morgan..." His voice was rough and scratchy.

His raven black hair was matted from sweat and bags were prominent under his eyes.

The door swung open and he cringed instinctively as hands reached in. He tensed as they came in contact with his minuscule form. They cupped gently under him and lifted him out. He felt himself relax as he realized he was safe now and felt himself fall asleep.

--

"Nathan, I don't understand. I found him at Denise's (just a random name lol) house. But he's you.. how-?"

Nate opened his eyes as he woke up onto to find himself looking into.. his own giant face? He instinctively backed up as confusion filled his brown eyes, the feeling only deepening as he noted the office attire the massive being was wearing. A white shirt with a blue tie, and black slacks with a black belt and black business shoes.

(Nathan is the giant and Nate is the tiny lol just to make it easier)

"Well, he's awake." Nathan looked at Morgan and then crouched down to be eye level with the tiny version of him. "What's your name?"

"N-Nathan Sharp, but Nate is fine." His words were rushed so he could get them out without stuttering a lot.

"Nathan Smith." The giant introduced himself, extending an index finger to the small man. "Nice to meet ya."

Nate shook the finger with his hands before Nathan continued to talk.

"Why are you so bruised?"

"That girl.. she seemed to have some personal vendetta against me and she wasn't very kind." He got progressive quieter as he continued, nearly whispering.

Nathan and Morgan exchanged a glance.

"She's an old ex.. guess she holds a grudge."

"Wanting to take advantage of someone so small and hurting them over a break up?" Morgan murmured, finally taking part in the conversation. "That's awful.."

"Yeah, anyway.." Nathan was talking again, so Nate turned his attention to his giant doppelgänger. "Matthew Patrick, he's a friend of mine. He might be able to help you."

"Yeah, with him being a technical scientist."

"How did you-?" Nathan looked confused before it clicked. "There's one of him where you came from too, isn't there?"

Nate nodded.

"Well, we can talk about that later." Nathan gave Nate a smile and gently transferred him onto his palm before standing up. "Let's go find him, then."
