"BRICE!" Seto's cries for his love filled the air, mixed with his screams of despairing agony. "YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS!"
Ty grabbed onto the hem of Brice's shirt Seto was wearing. Seto looked back at him, his eyes flaring into purple and orange flames. Ty's grip loosened on the shirt as he took it off and left it in Ty's possession. "Don't be an idiot about this . . . " Ty muttered after Seto as he walked towards Ian, the stone crumbling under his feet, leaving dents in the ground.
Seto was literally glowing. The ghost of a fire surrounded him, his eyes glowing brighter than ever before as tears streamed down his face, the bandages around his torso and the ones covering his eye burned away into nothing. A shockwave emitted from him, his hair lighting aflame and his eyes switching to fiery orange and red color in an instance. Everything around him was blown back by the controlled wind circling around him as he stepped closer to Ian.
He raised his hand and Ian dropped his sword, lifting up into the air as he grasped at his neck, as if trying to free himself from someone's grip. He gasped for air as Seto began closing his hand.
"I don't care if you're my friend," Ian squeezed his eyes shut while frantically trying to escape.
"I don't care if you're something possessing my friend's body," Ian was slowly brought towards Seto.
"No one hurts my friends, no, my family," Ian was now inches away from Seto.
"AND NO ONE MURDERS MY LIGHT IN LIFE!" Seto punched him in the face, sending him down and leaving a small crater where he hit the ground. His sunglasses tumbled in after him, being shoved in by the wind.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I'll-- I'll give you your friend back, just leave me alone!" Ian-- no, whoever was in Ian's body, pleaded, scrambling to pick up the sunglasses and put them on. He returned to normal and passed out almost immediately.
Seto also returned to normal, glancing around him. He saw Sky holding a body close to his own, looking at Seto with a blank expression. "Brice." He realized and rushed over, tripping himself in the process. He got up and kept going, citizens backing up as he neared, terrified of him. He fell to his knees beside Sky. He passed Brice's body to Seto with a small smile.
Brice was breathing, sure, very shallowy, but he was alive!
"I kept him alive with what little healing magic I have, hope it was enough." Sky said weakly, getting a thankful smile from Seto.
"Brice, you're gonna be okay, okay? I'll heal you, don't worry, everything's gonna be fine," His voice cracked repeatedly as he hugged Brice as tight as he could, his hands glowing as they rested on Brice's wound.
His voice got weaker with every ounce of mana he poured into healing the light of his life. He kept muttering "you'll be okay" over and over again. He didn't stop until he heard an all too familiar Australian accent;
"I'm okay, you can stop. At this rate, you'll pass out again." It was Brice, he was completely healed, besides a scar left on his back.
Seto loosened his grip on Brice and kissed him, sending them both toppling over. Brice placed his hands on his boyfriend's waistand and kissed him back. There were sparks and a few cheers flew into the air as they broke apart, Seto burying his blushing face in Brice's shirt. Brice chuckled and rubbed circles on Seto's bare back to help make him feel less embarrassed about kissing in public.
A pair of gloved hands grabbed Seto and pulled him away. It was a patrol of guards. Seto struggled in their grasp, but didn't try fighting thanks to the exhaustion from overuse of his mana. He gave one of the guards and cold glare, the guard immediately backed up. Brice tried pushing past the guards to get Seto, only to be held back by two of them.
"Let him go!" He demanded.
"Release them from the sorcerer's spell, starting with him." The head guard motioned to him.A teen girl shuffled over to Brice and placed her palm on his forehead, muttering something under her breath. She looked shocked and confused, saying; "That's . . . What? How do you feel about the sorcerer?"
"First off, he has a name, and secondly, that's a stupid question," The head guard smirked, before it faltered at his response. "I love him with all my heart and that will always be my answer, even a million millenniums past the day I die!"
"You idiot!" He slapped the girl. "I told you to break the spell, not reinforce it!"
"Sir," She held her cheek as a bruise formed. "There is no spell on him!"
"WHAT?! That's impossible!"
"Sir, that's his genuine answer!"
"There's no way," He slapped her again. "You're a traitor!""Release our friends and leave the girl be," Sky commanded as the red-head boy helped him stand. "That's an order."
"Oh yeah? From who, the generals of the main armies' base?" He said in a mocking voice.
"Actually, yeah, that's exactly "from who" the order's from." Sky smirked.
"Yeah right, and you're the messenger for the best general ever, General Sky of the Sky Army, and the message starts with "I, General Sky, the best person ever," Ha! That'll be the day." He mocked.
"Don't make me sound like such a narcissist, that's rude.""Wait-- what?"
"I, General Sky Brine of the Sky Army, order you to release Brice Solace, the girl, and General Seto Source of the Magics Army this instant!" He ordered.
"D-Did you just call him . . . G-General S-Source?!" The guards immediately released the three, taking a step back as Brice held Seto by his waist so he wouldn't fall over.
"Is the little magic general sleepy?" Brice cooed, Seto nodding lightly in response.A red-head with a red dino hoodie picked Brice's second shirt up from off the ground, dusted it off, and handed it to Brice. He smiled a thank you and made Seto put it on before crouching down to his level. Seto climbed onto his back and loosely wrapped his arms around his neck, burying his face in Brice's shoulder. He placed his hands underneath the tired sorcerer so he wouldn't fall, smiling softly to himself.
"Thank you, love . . . " Seto mumbled, closing his eyes.
"Anything for you, my prince." Brice whispered as Seto peacefully fell asleep on his back.
"We're looking for someone who might have a clue as to where our friend is, his name is Tyler Brotato, is there a Tyler Brotato here?" Sky yelled out over the crowd.
"Um, h-here, sir! A-Are you looking for J-Jason?" Tyler spoke up as he helped Mitch stand. "I know where h-he is, b-but we would need to leave in less t-than half an hour.
"Perfect! Give us, I'd say ten minutes and we'll be ready to go." Sky smiled, before the boy helping him stand spoke up while the crowd dispersed and the group was left alone."No, you people are in no condition to travel, especially in just ten minutes!" He said.
"M-Max," Squirrel boy said softly, tugging on his arm.
"What is it, Ross?" He looked down at Ross.
"I think th-they'll be fine . . . " He pointed over to a somehow human Jerome supporting a very dizzy looking demon Mitch, both almost completely healed.
"What the--" Max looked back at Sky with a confused expression."SKYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY, THE HUMAN THINGS ARE TRYNA TOUCH MAH WINGS!" Ty squealed, running over in his hybrid form and tackling Sky to the ground in a hug.
"Sweetie, why not just let them?"
"Because you're my mate. Only my mate can touch my wings!"
"Is that a enderdragon thing?"Three minutes of explaining later, the crew that came to help them understood and introduced themselves as "The Sky Media Mischieves." They were sort of like a travelling show sort of thing.
"Max,"
"R-Ross,"
"Red,"
"Barney,"
"Jin,"
"Nick,"
"Cory,"
"Tim."
