(A/N The person who's POV it is will be in brackets in the title for every chapter.)

I sign the last papers and put my pitch-black sunglasses back on. I lean back in my chair and let out a sigh of relief, I'm finally done!

And then Ssundee bursts through the door. "But I seriously just finally finished!" I groaned before he could speak. "But it's urgent!" He whines, mimicking my tone. "Fine, fine, Imma coming!" I say as I stand and run after him as he runs down the hall and stairs.

I jump up onto the railing of the staircase and glide down to the first floor, passing Ssundee, before jumping off and walk to the meeting hall then shove open the giant wood doors as Ssundee catches up.

"What is it this time," I ask, using the most monotone voice I can manage as I put my hands on the big table in the middle of the room. I look around at everyone and notice someone missing, "And where the hell is the canadian?"

No one answered. Funny, normally the Fluffy would answer if it's about his best friend, wait.

I scan the room once more. "And, god damnit, where's ASF?!" I nearly yell. Deadlox sighs, "bring them in." On his word two recruits push in two rolling table with black cloaks covering shapes.

I bang my forehead against the table. "We called this meeting because we need a new team to take our place." Mudkipz announced. I sigh. "Gather the children, they have the training," I say. "But-" Sorcerer started, "We don't have time to complete it, Sorcerer!" I cut him off as I bang my fist against the table beside my head. "Recruits, please go find Team Crafted and bring them here." Ssundee declares. The two recruits who brought in Bajan and ASF nod and leave.

A few minutes later, they come back with a group of teens. I needed to someday tell Sky he wasn't really my son, but now it seems we won't have time. "Mitch, Jerome, can you come here?" Ssundee asks.

They slowly walk over to him and he whispers the unfortunate news. Mitch begins to ball his eyes out as Jerome hugs him tightly. Ian, Ssundee's son, leaves for a few minutes and comes back with a cake. "Feel not sad soon?" He says as he puts the cake on the table.

I take a deep breath and look at my "son", Sky. "Kids, you're taking over." I announced. "W-What?" Sky stutters. I walk over to him and rest my hands on his shoulders. "Sky, promise me you'll be a good leader." I say. He doesn't respond, "promise me!" He nods, "I promise..." Sky says and hugs me.

The attack alarm starts blaring and I release Sky. Everyone but Sky and I run outside. "Sky, let's go fight a good fight." I say and run outside to see squids and recruits fighting everywhere. I pull my golden sword from the sheath strapped to my hip and join the fight.

I slash down squids left and right until I reach the general, a humanoid squid with silver hair and stormy eyes, and slash at him. "IDIOT! Do you really think you can beat me?" It yelled. "Well let's find out!" I reply. I slash and he blocks it with his diamond sword. We continue constantly slashing at each other and attacking, our blades clashing together and us continuously dodging each other until, he got a lucky shot. He slashed my arm that I was using to hold my sword, making me drop my golden weapon. I let out a blood curdling scream as he pierces my chest just beside my heart with his sword.

"DAD!" I hear Sky scream and footsteps rushing towards me. I see my young warrior slash down the squid's general and rush to my side. "Sky, my little warrior, I'm so proud.." I manage to mutter as he leans me up against a tree. "But, it seems I don't have time to... to tell you the truth..." I say. "Truth? Dad, dad what are you saying?" Sky asks. "I'm... not your real father..." I tell him. "Dad just hold on, please!" He shouts as he slowly starts to pull the sword out of my chest. I cry in agony but continue, "There's a.. a book in my room.. hidden away, find... find it, it will tell you everything.." I lift my hands and take off my sunglasses, carefully placing them atop his head with my shaky hands. I cough up a bit of blood then look my little one in the eyes.
Sky's normally charming brown eyes are glassy with tears and have little golden specs here and there. His brine side will break through eventually.
He gets the sword loose and I scream. "AUSTIN!" People are screaming my name. I shakily take off my amulet and wrap it around Sky's neck. "N-Never... t-take it o-off..." I stutter.

He nods as the others reach us. "Come on, Austin, the battle's over! We won. Just hold on, we'll get you help!" Mudkipz yells. "Don't... I... I won't m-make it." I say. "Dad, dad don't you say that!" Sky cries. I put my hand on his cheek and wipe his tears with my thumb. He presses his forehead against mine as he cries softly, "don't say that..." I pull away from him and put my lips to his forehead in a kiss. "I love you, Sky... don't you dare forget that..." I whisper as I close my eyes for the final time.

The last thing I hear is crying and Sky's scream of agony and sadness.

(That was.. depressing.nI promise Chapter 1 won't be as sad! Anyways, everyone, had a good rest of your days!)
