It's been a week since the incident. Ty survived, thankfully, but was in a coma for four days. Jason and Sky refused to leave his side, slept and ate and worked files in his room and everything. It was both heart warming and breaking. But everything is okay now, things went back to normal and Ty is slowly recovering, even after the trauma attack he had when he woke up and thought he was dead. Jason got a fancy metal arm from his apprentice Jensay. And we got the house back up with renovations too!

I leaned against the railing of the balcony, letting a content sigh slip past my lips. The sunset was beautiful and it was warm and calm with a small breeze. It was nice. Then a familiar owl came into my vision, Yin, the one I had as a child.

Yin set down on the railing, pecking affectionately at my fingers. I scratched at the feathers under her head. She chirped happily, showing me a scroll tied to her leg. I took the scroll and sent her off again, straightening as I read it.

Dearest greetings to the young Prince Harvey Seto Ashfall Oxoren Illius of the Kingdom of Sorcia,

You have been personally invited back home to the royal family of Sorcia for a formal reunion. This letter has been tracked through your former familiar owl, Yin, as we will be returning to your residence to retrieve you in the morning at ten-hundred-hours. We shall be bringing five chariots as your chariot itself and a protective escort. You may bring whomever you desire to to introduce formally to the other members of the royal family. Your personally chosen fiancée shall be waiting there to meet you as well.

Best of wishes and most wonderful farewells, until we shall meet you once again.

Signed and sincerely, the royal family of the Kingdom of Sorcia.

Of course. I had completely forgotten about that. Warm arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me in, a head on spiky yet soft blond hair nuzzling into my shoulder.

"What's wrong, my little prince?" Brice whispered, leaving a gentle kiss on the side of my neck.

I grimaced, gripping the paper tighter in my hands, "I think it's time the others meet my family. I've been invited back home but they aren't really giving me a choice not to attend."

Hearing the news about my family, Brice tensed. "Fancy full name and all?" He asked, a tinge of hopefulness that he was wrong in his voice.

"Fancy full name and all," I sighed.

He let go of me, moving to be beside me and grasping my hands in his, "Maybe it won't be such a bad thing this time."

"Let's just get this over with," I smiled, "okay, darling?"

We went back to my room to retrieve a small box before we went down to the meeting room, pressing a green button on the wall along the way. I set the box down while Jason and Sky looked up from their work. Ty was listening to music on the sidelines and noticed me putting the box down, putting his headphones around his neck. Brice sat beside the box, pulling his chain necklace from under his shirt and playing with the diamond charm.

After a minute or two, the team was assembled. "Who called the meeting?" Quentin asked.

"We did," Brice answered.

"And why?" He continued.

"Because, a little while ago, I got a letter," I said, "by owl."

"So?"

"It was an invitation back to a family reunion. And I have decided it is time for you to meet my family," I explained shortly, "so all of you are coming with us. The carriages arrive at ten in the morning."

"Hold up," Mitch paused for a second, "carriages? What are you, royalty?"

I fixed my posture, bowing deeply and straightened, pressing my clasped-together hands to the small of my back. Behind me, Brice took my earrings and silver crown, unclipping the chain to my amulet and catching it before it fell. My eyes turned to a churning royal blue, flecks of royal purple and fiery orange like gold making the color shine, as I'm sure. The accessories were my power dampeners. He opened the box and gently set a detailed gold crown with pearls and silver gems onto my head. My entire appearance changed to be completely royal.

"I believe a proper, formal introduction, is in order," I announced at their dumbfounded faces. "I am the young Prince Harvey Seto Ashfall Oxoren Illius of the Kingdom of Sorcia, the sole heir to kingship in my land, the sole full fledged hybrid lined up for the throne. It is a pleasure to be reacquainted with you all."

"What."

"Alright now! Pack up a backpack each of what you need, no clothes needed, those will be provided," I clapped my hands together, trading my royal crown for my plain silver one. I was way more comfortable without the fancy gold. "We'll meet up in the morning. Come on, darling!" I chirped, smiling to everyone and grabbing Brice's arm, looping mine around his.

We went upstairs to my room. I snapped my fingers and a pair of backpacks sat at the foot of my bed. "Are you sure this is all a good idea, Set?" Brice asked, putting my crown away. He put my amulet back around my neck, placing my amethyst earrings in my hands.

I put the earring sback into, flopping down on my bed with a huff, "Absolutely not, but they deserve to know."

"Who, your sisters or the team?" Brice chuckled, laying down beside me.

I snuggled up to him, pressing myself against his chest and wrapping my arms around his torso. I nuzzled my head into the crook of his neck, mumbling out the answer, "Both."

"Night, little prince," Brice laughed sweetly, "I love you."

"I love you, too," I mused, "darling."

And we fell asleep like that.

And then, the morning was hectic! I left Amara in charge of everything while I was gone. I made sure everyone was dressed in something presentable in court and everyone had their duffle bag or backpack. When the carriages pulled up outside the walls, they were amazed. I just shushed them and got them on the carriages. One of the drivers were really happy to see me again. A childhood friend who worked with the stable boys, as he says.

We were stuck in there for a while, but we joked around and played games until we got there.
