Victoria's POV

I woke up hearing Chris humming a tune.
I sat up, "morning." He said, then started humming again.
"Howdy." I said softly.
I got up and took a shower. After I got out I dried off, throwing on a Zeppelin T-shirt and some shorts.

"Oh that's a cute outfit, where'd you get that?" Chris asked.
"Jeff gave it to me, said it belongs to his girlfriend."
Chris just nodded and sat on the bed.
"Stone came by this morning, told me that Eddie was sleeping off a hangover. In other words, you're free." He said.
"Oh that's nice."

Again there was a knock on the door, Chris got up and opened the door.
"Hey Matt." I heard him say.
"Matty!" I said, running up behind Chris.
"What's up Vicky? The PJ guys and the rest of Soundgarden were planning on hanging out today." Matt said.

"Oh cool, where at?" Chris asked.
"Well I was going to ask Vicky to pick." Matt shrugged.
"I have no clue Matt. What's even around here?"
I had never been to California before. I had never been out of Washington before.

"You have a point. I don't know." Matt shrugged.
"Well we have to be on stage at 7 tonight." Chris mentioned.
"We could go to the pool." Matt suggested.
"Sounds fun." I said.

"Pool it is. No Eddie allowed, got it." Matt laughed, going back to tell everyone the plan.

"Hope Jeff had a swimming suit prepared." Chris nudged me.
"Actually, no, he didn't." I said, suddenly concerned about how I was supposed to swim now.
"You can always go nude." He joked.
"Hell no."

"Well then let me take you shopping real quick." He said.
"You don't have a car." I pointed out.
"Darling, its Cali. Everything is a block away."
I nodded, guessing he was right.

We left the room and walked down the street to a local clothing store.
"Okay, tall guy, find the swim suits." I said.
He peeked over the racks and found them.
"Follow me."
We walked across the entire store, and found a large selection of bikinis.

"This is cute." He muttered, holding up a hot pink bikini.
"Chris, no." I shook my head with a giggle.
"What about this one?" This one was an ugly green color.
"Ew Chris, come on."
I kept pushing through the bikinis, trying to find a nice one.
"Okay for real this time." I heard him say.
I looked at him again, and he was holding out a red bikini.
"Really?"
"Yeah, you'll look hot." He winked.
"Go try it on." He requested.
"How do you know if it's even my size?" I asked.
"Just a guess, now go!" He said, handing it to me.

I ran off into the dressing room and put it on. He was a good guesser.
"I don't know if red is my color." I told him from behind the door.
"No way, let me see."
"Hell no, you'll have to take my word for it." I argued.
"Ha you're funny." Just as he said that, his head popped over the door.
"You look great!" He grinned.
"Chris! I could've been naked!" I scolded him.
"Even better! No really, you look amazing lets go." He said.
"I hate you." I mumbled. He walked away so I could get dressed again and I came out with the bikini in hand.

"All good?" He asked.
"Yep."

He went up and paid for it, handing it back to me and we walked back up to the hotel.

"Where were you guys?" Jeff asked.
"Getting Vicky a bikini." Chris answered him.
"Oh sweet." He nodded, going back to what he was doing.
"You guys ready or what?" Stone said, coming out in swimming trunks with a towel draped over his shoulder.

"New plan, were going to the beach." Chris said suddenly.
"What?" Everyone said collectively.
"Yeah, I'm sure that pool is nasty. Cmon." He pleaded.
"I'm in." I shrugged.
After everyone else agreed, we all changed into our swimming suits and walked to the beach. Because I'm Chris' words- "its Cali, everything is a block away."
