Nogla-Midnight Talk

Your P.O.V.
Why is someone knocking at my door? It's late. I walk over to the door and look through the peephole.

I smile as I saw the face of my boyfriend, David. I open it and he steps in. "Go get a sweater and meet me in your backyard." He says.

I nod and go to my room to put on a sweater. I walk back out of my room and walk to the door of my back yard.

I open the door and step outside. I close the door behind me as I see David sitting on a lawn chair.

I grab the other lawn chair and take a seat next to him. "So can you tell me why you decided to come over to my house in the middle of the night?" I ask.

"I wanted to talk." He replies, looking at me. "About?" I ask. "Us." He replies. I smile a bit. "What about us?" I ask.

"Well I want to say a couple of things." David says. "Go ahead." I say. "You know. I love you. I really do." He says.

"I know that. And I love you too." I say. "It's strange. We've been dating since 8th grade and look at us. We've been dating for almost a decade." He says.

"Yeah. It's crazy to believe we've been dating for that long." I say. "I made up my mind when we went to prom." David says.

"What was it?" I ask. "I want to marry you. Like you've stuck by my side for as long as I can remember." David says.

"Well you stuck by my side as well." I reply. "I feel like the time I've spent with you wasn't enough. I want to spend my life with you." He says.

"Well I agree. You're really important to me." I say. "Sometimes I wonder if I could like just talk to you all night about everything." He says.

"You could. Isn't that why you came over here at like 2 in the morning?" I ask. "It's actually midnight. I checked." David says with a chuckle.

"You're such a nerd David." I reply with a laugh. "So are you!" He replies. "Alright you got me there." I say.

"So what do you want to do after I just like flat out quit YouTube?" He asks. "David you cannot be serious. You have fans who you make happy." I say.

"I was joking. I mean Youtube is my priority but you're my top priority." He says. "As if, you'd probably marry a potato if you had the chance." I say sarcastically.

"Whose to say you aren't the potato I'm gonna marry?" He asks with a smirk. "As if I'm a potato. I'm at least a french fry." I reply with a laugh.

"Mmm and I'm a Big Mac." David replies. "David I swear." I roll my eyes at his remark. He laughs in return.

"I could literally do this all night with you." David says. "Do what?" I ask. "Talk with you." He replies.

"David, we literally talk all the time why are you acting like we don't?" I ask. "Because I can't get enough of you." He replies.

"That's sweet of you." I say. "Maybe we can actually talk all night." He says. I turn to him. "Why not?"
