Three weeks later
Brooke watched as Jasmine avoided all eye contact with her while she walks across the room to another unoccupied seat far away from her. A sudden pinch of guilt consumes Brooke as her stomach dropped. This was it, she thought. This was final. There was no more Brooke and Jasmine. It was just Brooke... then Jasmine. But how could she complain when she was the one who ended it? Jasmine was willing to give her all, and she just crushed it as if it was sand under her feet. And maybe it was because, in the end, their relationship would have crumbled into nothingness till it was just sand slipping through their fingers. So might as well end the relationship before anybody got too attached.
Besides, distance shouldn't increase their feelings for each other, so this was needed for them. Maybe, in the future, they could get together again, and hopefully then Brooke would be whole and not half of what she could be. Not even half, but a piece of what she could be. Therefore, she was not qualified enough to be in a relationship when she couldn't even love herself cause how could someone love her if she couldn't ...
