you planned bring Ethan with you have a dinner with your family for the second time. your parents have seen ethan and you but never had a long conversation with him. you two have dated for years. you two want to take the next step of living together or even more than that.

Your POV
I'm freaking out because my parents will be talking to my long time boyfriend Ethan. I'm scared what they'll think of him but I'm sure nothing bad will happen.

"Ethan you'll be fine," I say playing with his fingers while laying on my bed next to him. "They'll love you, and I love you very much. If something happens that will not stop me from loving you."

"I know but I want to look good for your family," he says. "I want your parents to see me as a guy that you'll be waking up to."

I smile and entwine my hand to his. "I'm positive that they'll love you."

He smiles and pecks my lips before hearing a knock on the door. That's my mom and dad so we jump out of bed and Ethan fixes his hair a bit before I open the door. "i love you," ethan says.

"i love you too," i say. I open the door revealing my parents with a stern look, great. "Hey mom hey dad," I say giving them hugs. "Ethan made us dinner for this so... yeah."

They put a smile finally and walk to the dining table. I fidget with my hands nervous cause I don't know what they'll think of my E tee wee tee.

I hear footsteps behind me and my parents stand up from their seats. I turn around to see Ethan in a button up which made me smile. "Ethan Dolan?" My dad says shaking Ethan's hand. "Pleasure to meet you Mr. (Last name)."

After that my mom hugs Ethan which made me giggle under my breath. "Hi Ethan," my mom says. "Hello Mrs. (last name)."

My parents finally sit back down and I stand up to go in the kitchen with Ethan. I walk in the kitchen and Ethan quickly kisses me. "I hope this will go well for us," he says. I smile and we gather the dinner for us and my parents. We walk back into the dining room with the food and sets it on the table. It really impressed me when Ethan looked up a special dish. He worked for hours for this meal for my family which I find very sweet.

We sit down and dig in on the food. After about a minute of silence from eating, my dad talks. "So Ethan my daughter says so many things about you..."

Ethan and I move our hands under the table to entwine them together.

"...what made you want to date y/n."

"Well she's a very smart, kind, and beautiful woman. we share the same hobbies and she's a very positive woman. Nothing I've ever seen before in my life and I fell in love with her because of that sir. I'm committed to anything because I'm a very lucky man to hold your daughter's hand...sir," Ethan answer and my heart skips a beat. I squeeze his hand under the table to make sure that he's doing right. My dad nods and asks another question. "What do you do for a living?"

"Well me and my twin brother make videos for people for a living. We have-"

"What type of videos?" My dad interrupts Ethan and I shift on my seat.

"Um we make things that make people laugh, basically entertain teenagers," Ethan says with a small laugh. "We have 3 million subscribers, and I'm also taking online schooling to stay in track," Ethan says.

"Thats nice, very prepared," my mom says.

"That's it? Make videos," my dad says. I close my eyes shut for a while.
