The Boy With The Voice

As our car pulls up to the mall, I grab my bag and get ready to get out of the car.

When my mom parks, I wait in the car for a minute, making sure my curly dark brown hair looks good.

"Thanks for driving me mom!" I say as I get out. She looks over at me and grins. "Your welcome"

I enter the mall to see my best friends Julia and Megan. "Heyy" I say as I approach them.

They look over at me, and smile with excitement. "It's about time!" Julia shouts over and walks over to fix my hair, laughing.

"The wind messed it up, not my fault!" I say giggling.

Megan gets up laughing and pulls me and Julia over to Hot Topic. She loves this store, but Julia and I, not so much.

Julia takes my other hand, and we start to run over to the store. They start making me go faster and faster. "Slow down guysss!" I shout. But then, BAM.

I fall over and hit the mall floor. "Ow" I mutter. "Are you ok?"

I hear a concerned, gentle voice. It was of a boy. I look up to see a sincere face staring at me. It was a boy with blonde hair and ocean blue eyes.

"Yeah, I - I am ok. Thanks asking for. I mean thank you for asking. What am I even saying I mean-"

I am cut off by the boys laughter. His laugh was so sweet, it was not mocking.

"I'm Kayden." He says smiling.

His smile, oh my gosh, he had a gorgeous smile. Wait, snap out of it Taylor. You just met the boy and you are already obsessing.

"I'm Taylor." I reply back. Does he think I'm pretty? Did I say that too giddy? Oh crap.

"Can I buy you some ice cream to make it up to you?" he says, showing his beautiful smile.

"Yes, yeah, sure, of course." I say, laughing. Then I look over to see Julia and Megan.

"Do you guys mind?..." I say awkwardly. "No not at all, go ahead!" Julia says. Megan nods in agreement, and when Kayden looks away, makes heart signs and kiss faces.

I roll my eyes laughing, and nod over in Kaydens direction, signaling that I am ready. He looks at my hand, and tries to awkwardly take it. Wow this guy was so strange yet adorable.

I touch my hand with his and off we go. People look over at us like we are a couple, and it feels so awkward yet right.

Oh my god why can't I stop thinking about him! We are not dating, he is just offering to get me ice cream after the fall.

But he was holding my hand.

I try to take my mind off of it and just keep walking. I smile at him and he smiles at me.

This is going to be nice.
