How's He So Perfect?

We walk to an ice cream stand near the front of the food court.

"What flavor do you think you will get?" I ask Kayden awkwardly.

"Maybe we could share a milkshake, I mean they are really big and it won't be as expensive so-"

"Yes" I say laughing. "That sounds good." He laughs and blushes a bit.

We order a large vanilla, and trust me. It was huge. Kayden and I sit down over where no one else is.

"So what do you like to do?" He asks. "Well I like to sing..." And with that, a large smile appears on his face.

He stands up and tries acting cool (when he tries it is so funny/adorable.) and looks like he is about to do something.

All of a sudden, he sings. I never heard someone with such a gorgeous voice.

It sounded like angels... I recognize the song he is singing. By instinct I automatically join in.

We spend 20 minutes singing together.

"Do you want to, ya know, meet up at the park or something?" he says smiling.

This boy was so caring, perfect, and had an amazing voice too? I never met a boy so amazing.

I never thought I would want to date again after my break up 6 months ago.

My boyfriends name was Mark (now my ex) and we had dated for 4 years.

We had so many good times, and he seemed so loyal. We had talked about the future... as if we had a clue.

But then, I remember walking into his house to surprise him, and there was a girl with long blonde hair, standing there making out with him.

And Mark was enjoying it. I had ran out crying, "How could he do this?!" I had been thinking.

I never thought that I would want to date again.

I look at Kayden, smiling. This boy was different. I could tell.

"Sure, Yes, we should meet up at the park later." I say smiling.

Then with that, he takes my hand and writes his number.

I write mine on his wrist, and with that he goes.
