I pressed on my temples trying to clear my headache. Ugh! The whining won't stop and Vincent isn't helping me with any of it.
Vincent and I got married two years ago. He was a very sweet man, but he changes like a girl changing out of her clothes. He showed his true colors.
I know what you are thinking. Why can't she leave him? Well, there isn't anywhere for me to live. I would be living on the streets taking care of my baby.
I know what he does. He leaves to go to his 'friends' house, but yet he comes back wasted with lipstick smeared all over his face. Yes, I know he cheats on me.
But I don't want to believe it knowing that I would leave him to live on the streets. I don't want to live like that.
With a sigh, I got up off my bed and walk over to the crib my baby's laying in and picked her up and sing a Lullaby.
"Lo, how a rose e'er blooming
From tender stem hath sprung!
Of Jesse's lineage coming,
As men of old have sung.
It came, a floweret bright,
Amid the cold of winter,
When half spent was the night.Isaiah 'twas foretold it,
The rose I have in mind;
With Mary we behold it,
The virgin mother kind.
To show God's love aright,
She bore to men a Savior,
When half spent was the night.The shepherds heard the story
Proclaimed by angels bright,
How Christ, the Lord of glory
Was born on earth this night.
To Bethlehem they sped
And in the manger found Him,
As angel heralds said.This flower, whose fragrance tender
With sweetness fills the air,
Dispels with glorious splendor
The darkness everywhere;
True man, yet very God,
From sin and death He saves us,
And lightens every load.O Savior, child of Mary,
Who felt our human woe,
O Savior, King of glory,
Who dost our weakness know;
Bring us at length we pray,
To the bright courts of Heaven,
And to the endless day"(Not owned by me: Gotten it by from website: Written by Michael Praetorius)
My mother used to sing me that song when I was very little. Fell asleep to it every time I had nightmares. Her voice was beyond amazing. I just wish I can hear it again one more time.
My baby stops crying and fell asleep. "Shhh, my little princess."
I bounce her a little then took her downstairs into the living room. I slowly sit down on the couch and started to feed her my breast milk in a bottle.
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door and its not Vincent because he's at work and I can careless on what he does.
I slowly got up trying not to wake my princess up and walk to the door. I opened the door revealing Harley and Amber.
"Girl, what if it was some creep was at the door and you opened it?" Amber sassed.
After the whole kidnapping thing. I came back to my hometown and reunited with Amber and Harley. Dalton and Dominic have not been seen since I've been here.
I rolled my eyes and kicked the door open so they can come in. They walked in and closed the door.
They think I had a one night stand with some random guy and lived him for a while. I just couldn't bring up the whole kidnapping thing and bring up him.
He put my life through a living hell, but yet he made something so special, so dear to me. My princess.
"So, dear, what would you like to do today?" Amber said with her brown eyes shining. "I don't know." I shrugged and stop feeding my baby and started to burp her.
