Chapter 19

Chapter 19: Back to 2005

            The remaining penguins travelled back to Club Penguin. Unfortunately, Petey K didn’t make it. He disappeared when he was about to enter the portal back. They arrived at the HQ and transformed into their guardian forms. They ran outside and saw penguins glitching out due to the cracks of time. It’s true, it’s affecting not only the human world but also the gaming world as well. They flew to the tallest mountain and saw the spaceship that Gary made that help the Ducktor escape. Now, it has a huge satellite and its creating the cracks of time and space to let the Ducktor enter to change time.

            “Gary, what did you do?” asked Alana.

            Gary just remembered what happened. It happened in his trance. He built it with the Ducktor when he was hypnotised. He just realised that the Ducktor used him to build it and set him free during the battle with Cadence and Stompin Bob at the park.

            “I built it” said Gary. “I was hypnotised by Tara and she used me to build this”.

            “Tara?” asked Rockhopper.

            “She calls herself that” said Gary. “Since Billybob didn’t give her a name, she calls herself that be we know her as the Ducktor”.

            Suddenly, a red flash came and Rockhopper disappeared.

            “Argg!!!” he yelled.

            “Rockhopper!” yelled Alicia.

            “It’s only me, Aunt Artic, Gary, Cadence, Stompin Bob, Lily and Doctor left” said Rookie.

            They all flew up to a crack and tried to go through time and space to the past. They can see doorways to other timelines. The time when Allie got married to Gary, when the Band became a hit, when Cadence came, etc. Everything in the past is there, even gateways to other time zones. They all arrived at the first place available during the time, Town Center on the first party that occurred… the Beta Party. When they arrived, a green flashed arrived and Rookie disappeared.

            “Noooo!!!!” cried Rookie. “I don’t want to go!”

            “Hey, if we can enter alternate timelines, why can’t we just enter the timeline where the world is saved?” asked Alana.

            “Because we would disrupt the balance of the universe!” said Gary. “I did it once, it gave powers to Lira”.

            “Oh, when you needed to get another Link” said Alana.

            “So, where do we go?” asked Stompin Bob.

            “To the main mainframe” said Gary.

            Gary used his powers and they were all pixelated to the main databanks of the site. It’s filled with all the coding of the game. There, they have to find the Ducktor but it’s really huge.

            “How are we going to find this ‘Ducktor’?” asked Trevor. “The main databanks is huge! It’s gonna be impossible!”

            “In Club Penguin, nothing is impossible” said Gary. “I managed to create something that can alter time and space itself!”

            “So, where do we go?” asked Alana.

            Gary gave it a thought then he noticed his crystal is beeping. It was the signal to the Ducktor.
