Chapter 27: In the Center of Time and Space
A flash of blue light arrived and they finally arrived in the center of time and space. They were all floating in space and couldn’t move. Around them are multiple wormholes, Wormholes through all to different times and space. Unfortunately, there’s no indication on where they lead to.
“You guys must transform into your guardian forms” said the Ducktor.
So they did and they finally were able to move by flying. Alana created a holographic hover board for the Ducktor to use. They started to use their powers to find G but it doesn’t work. Then the Ducktor borrowed one of their crystals and he used his power watch to find G. It worked. They have to jump into one of the wormholes to go to the borderline of their timeline and the alternative timeline. They have to hold hands because the rift of time might push them off to a random timeline. They made it through together and that’s when they found Gary.
“G!” said Alana.
Gary is just floating around, trying to decide where to go, to his real timeline or to the other side. Suddenly he sees his friends and the Ducktor going to him.
“What are you doing here?” asked Gary.
“Funny, I was going to ask you that” said the Ducktor. “Why are you here? Why aren’t you back in your real body?”
“Because… umm… I got lost?” said Gary.
“That’s a lie!” said the Ducktor. “Everyone returned because it was their choice! They’ve been waiting to leave the alternate world for all that time and you are preventing your return! But if you are lost, we can help you get back”.
“Fine! I lied!” said Gary. “I don’t want to go back ok! My life has been filled with secrets and I don’t want to be deluded again! My alternate self had an even better life than this! A life away from the lies, and betrayal and the secrets. How come I couldn’t live like that? Lane, you’ve now owe me my freedom. I now want it!”
“I will give it to you but understand this, you can never return to your world again” said Lane.
“I agree we should give G away” said Alana.
Everyone looked at her with shock and disbelief.
“Think about it, since G is the wielder of the Link, if our enemies get him, they can boost up their link abilities” said Alana.
“But it doesn’t mean give G away!” said Trevor. “He’s your father!”
“My Step dad!” said Alana. “He wasn’t there much for me!”
