Chapter 3

Chapter 3: Trip to Earth

            It was the next day and Billybob sent all the Guardians of the Link, Allie and Alana for a special meeting. They were sent to the HQ and sent everyone out.

            “Ok creator, what’s up?” asked Aunt Artic.

            “I came to tell you that I’ll be living in Club Penguin… literally” said Billybob.

            Everyone was in shock and couldn’t believe what’s going to happen.

            “Sir, what about your family?” asked Rookie.

            “My wife died during our battle against Lira” said Lane sadly. “Her beams hit her while everyone evacuated and my son managed to survive. My other relatives, we talked about this and they agreed. The only ones who knows about the Link in Earth are my family and Allie’s friends. They agreed and I’ll be moving here tonight. But don’t worry, I’ll come back to the human world in some cases”.

            “Ok, so what is the other reason why we’re here?” asked Cadence.

            “I have news” said Gary. Gary stood up and went to the centre of the room.

            “When I fainted during the wedding, I was sent to the Spirit World and met my Guardian form” said Gary.

            “What did it say?” asked Sensei.

            “It said that there’s going to be an impending danger in the future that will affect the time continuum and the Cyber Space” said Gary. “And Allie needs to go back to Earth from time to time because the sacrifice to Lira was rejected”.

            “Then doesn’t that mean that Lira is still alive?” asked Aunt Artic.

            “Not exactly” said Gary. “For what I’ve heard, she’s defeated but her power is still lurking so be aware”.

            “Thanks for the notification G!” said Rockhopper. Rockhopper is a Red Penguin who wears a pirate hat and had bushy black eye brows and beard. He is a famed pirate of Club Penguin.

            “Is that all?” asked Billybob.

            “No, that’s all” said the Director (Aunt Artic) as she put on her suit.

            “Ok, meeting adjourned” said Billybob.

            Allie and Gary returned to their igloo and opened the portal to Earth. They appeared out of Alana’s computer in Joshua’s house. They can see Alana working on her project for school.

            “Aaaah!” Alana yelled as she can see a flash on her computer. She ran behind her bed and brought out a plastic sword.

            There was a flash at her room. 2 bodies are appearing and was glowing. Then she can see 2 bodies appearing. They’re blue and pixelated. Then she can see Gary and Allie appearing.

            “Who the hay are you?” yelled Alana as she can’t recognize those people are.

            “Alana, it’s me!” said Allie.

            Alana became shocked and she fell to the ground. She was shocked to see Allie and Gary in human form… especially Gary. He was wearing a lab coat with glasses. He has normal skin colour and has black short hair.

            “Mother… step dad?” asked Alana. “I thought that you’re no longer human”.

            “Lira hated my sacrifice and I’m now part human and part penguin” said Allie. “But I’m still living in Club Penguin”.

            “Oh” said Alana. “Oh, Uncle Joshua wanted me to give you this. It’s the honeymoon gift”.

            Alana gave her the envelope and it was tickets to Los Angeles, California for the next day. But they were sent to a hotel in Vancouver and Lane managed to make Gary’s fake identification and legal documents like birth certificates, school records and etc. They visited the Club Penguin building and saw Lane sending his things to Club Penguin. Lane told them that the reason why he doesn’t transform much into his guardian form is because it will cost him to live in Club Penguin for an extra 100 years, making him have immortality. Gary was shocked to see what he saw. He’s seeing all the technology and devices that helped created him… literally. Then they visited Stan’s grave and paid their respects.

            The next day, Allie and Gary are at the airport in Vancouver and the temperature has dropped. It wasn’t normal and it’s the same coldness in Club Penguin and its just spring in Canada. Gary was wearing normal specs and normal clothes.

            “Burr” said Allie. “It’s never been this cold before”.

            “I’m used to it” said Gary. “It’s the same cold temperature in Club Penguin”.

            Lane, Alana and Joshua were at the airport with them saying their farewell.

            “Hope you have a great time in LA” said Lane.

            “Thanks… creator” said Gary in a low voice.

            Allie looked at Alana and saw her in a weird face.

            “Lana, what’s up?” asked Allie.

            “It’s weird for me to have a ‘penguin’ in a step dad” said Alana. “My classmates are making fun of me for having G as my dad”.

            “Don’t forget, you’re a possessor of the Link” said Allie. “This is what you may expect”.

            “Wish I wasn’t born” said Alana in a soft voice.

            Gary heard her say that so when no one was looking, he used his powers and created something for her.

            “Lana, I want you to take this” said Gary.

            “What is it?” asked Alana.

            Gary opened his hand and it was a bracelet made from Link fragments. Apparently, all the guardians and possessors kept their crystals and G kept the remaining. Gary placed the bracelets at her wrist and it glowed.

            “Unlike your mother, you just have to raise your hand up and say the magic word and you’ll transform to your guardian form. No need for your mother’s powers. You are a full Guardian like her” said Gary. “Powers are only active in Club Penguin when the time comes”.

            “K, thanks” said Alana. “But this doesn’t change anything! You are not my father! You’re just a penguin”.

            Gary, Allie and Lane were shocked for what they have heard. It was disrespectful but understood how she felt because Allie said that to Lane one time when she just returned from Club Penguin. It was a month later when it was her first day of her new school in Kelowna and her classmates made fun of her just because her father is a co-founder of a children’s game.

            So Allie and Gary went in and travelled to LA. They don’t have return tickets because once they leave, they will teleport back to Club Penguin. The human world is connected to Club Penguin through a computer link. They will meet Sky who now lives in LA after the incident and from there, they will return to Club Penguin. After the incident with Lira, it has been discovered that each site is connected Earth through the nearest location of each server. They will return to the island but in a different server.
