Chapter 28

Chapter 28: The Memories of Time and Space

            Suddenly, a ghostly screen appeared. It then showed a scene of Stan’s funeral. Alana was 5 and she was talking to G just to make her feel optimistic.

            “G, have you lost someone in your life that you may never ever get them back?” asked 5 year old Alana.

            “I did” said Gary. “And I’ve regretted it for the rest of my life”.

            “I wonder, what if you we’re my daddy?” said Alana. “Mommy talks about you a lot”.

            “She does…” said Gary. “Well, I can’t be your daddy. That will be hard”.

            The scene changed when Alana was struggling in science in high school. There, she kept the tablet that G appeared on during the funeral. She asked him for advice for science. All the scenes were showing how G was like a father to Alana.

            “What was that?” asked Alana.

            “Time memories” said the Ducktor. “We’re at the center of Time and Space, if we can feel pain or forget a memory; this is a place to be to remember them. Especially when it comes to knowing specific events”.

            The Ducktor activated a scene of his development before the Club Penguin team scrapped him.

            “I’ve always wanted to see how was I created and why was I gone” said the Ducktor. “I may be having a comeback but I want to know, why I was gone” said the Ducktor as the screen shows the development of the Ducktor and how he managed to flee.

            His entire history finally showing, helping him understand his past. He finally understands why he has to be gone. Then he can see the scenes of when the Link finally became active to him. The time when he escaped from actually being permanently being deleted… he escaped but parts of his time traveling machine broke so his calculations were misread and ended up to the battle when Lira was defeated. When everything was being restored, that’s when Lira took over him when he went outside. His old penguin appearance made him regenerate to a female Ducktor. Unfortunately, Lira took over and he couldn’t fight it.

            The screen disappeared and the Ducktor went to Gary.

            “Gary, you shouldn’t leave your actual timeline” said the Ducktor.

            “But it’s my choice! I have a life at the other side!” said Gary.

            Gary made the ghostly screens appear and it showed Chris with Alicia being happy. That they will be with each other, even in death.

            “Look!” said Gary. “I will be happy and I will go!”

            Everyone ran out of arguments to convince Gary on staying. Gary was about to leave till Aunt Artic remembered something.

            “G, wait!” said Aunt Artic.

            Aunt Artic summoned an image of the month before his wedding with Allie. It showed Allie freaking out.

            “No, it may be bad for Stan… who’s still up there” said Allie.

            “Allie, you said yes to Gary!” said Garnet. “If you are worried about Stan, then you shouldn’t have accepted his proposal!”.

            “Girl’s has a point” said Macy. “If you loved Stan, you should have said ‘no’! You’re just freaking out”

            “Gary, Allie thought that marrying you was a bad idea but she said yes even if she will move on from Stan!” said Aunt Artic. “Please stay!”

            “I’m going!” said Gary. “It’s not only that, I’m immortal! People lying to me, I have no idea how I feel anymore! Lira played with my emotions, she, Aunt Artic and Lane knows of Aunt Artic’s feelings! I had feelings for her you know! Till I met Allie, it all changed!”.
