Chapter 39: Break-up

Gary woke up and unfortunately, he still remembers everything. He can see Aunt Artic beside him and he tries to talk to her.

"Hi..." said Gary.

"You ok?" asked Aunt Artic.

"No, I feel bad. I now regret everything I've done to you last night" said Gary.

"It's ok" said Aunt Artic.

"Aunt Artic, I think we should break up" said Gary. "I may end up creating the same mistakes and I'm scared that I'm gonna hurt you".

Aunt Artic felt bad once those words are said. But she understands. G was programmed to be nervous and shy and it's still there in his DNA.

"I understand completely" said Aunt Artic. "You have no idea how to do this but you're learning".

Aunt Artic started to cry and Gary sat up from bed and comforted her.

"I'm sorry" said Gary. "But this is not who I am"

"You were... with Allie" said Aunt Artic. "Why not me?"

"Maybe it's due to the fact we were always friends since 2005 that I don't want to ruin it" said Gary.

"Am I being friend-zone?" asked Aunt Artic.

"I'm sorry but it's the necessary thing I can do" said Gary.

"Ok" said Aunt Artic.

Aunt Artic returned to her igloo without a goodbye. She checked her mail for the next Penguin Times article and found a question dealing with relationships. Normally, she can't answer them but now, she has to. When it was published, everyone noticed the change. The Question was...

Aunt Artic in the other hand cried for days and had to make herself feel better with her puffle companions.
