"Dude guess what happened to my phone." I said.
Zach turned around. He was eating lays on the couch.
"What?"
"Kong dropped it in the pool when Logan came over."
"That sucks man." He said shoving another chip into his mouth.
"Yeah. So I got a new phone." I said. "Can you give me your number? And the guys?"
"Yeah hand me your phone." He said.
I handed it to him. He wiped his fingers on the couch.
"That couch costed money and now you're getting your barbaque fingers all over it."
"Shut up." He said.
I jumped over the couch and grabbed the remote from him and sat down.
"Hey!" He said.
"Shut up!" I said. "No one wants to watch your commercials."
He laughed. Corbyn walked into the living room.
"Whaauuddduuuppp!" He said.
"Sup!" I said. "Where's Daniel and Jonah?"
"Right here!" Daniel said walking into the room with Jonah.
We all sat down and I was skipping through the channels.
"Wait to back!" Jonah said. "I saw a Lays Truck!"
I went back and we watched it.
"But it's the news..." Corbyn said.
"Well maybe it's something important." Zach said. "What if they're banding Lays from LA?"
"If it keeps you from wiping your fingers on the couch, they have my vote." Daniel said.
We all laughed.
"Good morning LA news!" The lady said. "We got a exclusive story from Pennsylvania."
"Ayee that's my town!" I said.
"Ssshh!" They all said.
"Sorry."
"Our local Lays truck was driving back to LA from Pennsylvania early in the morning, when former Randy Gomez, fell asleep, causing him to knock a 47 year old man named Larry Atkins right off the road."
They showed a picture of the man.
"No." I said.
"What!?" Zach asked.
"Hold on let me watch the rest." I said.
"Larry Atkins son, Jeff Atkins, had passed away a couple of months ago in a car crash leaving Larry and his daughter Sarah Atkins. Our prayers go out to Sarah Atkins due to the loss of her father. Our prayers also go out to the Gomez family due to Randy Gomez who is currently in critical conditions. Thank you and back to you Kendall."
I turned off the TV.
"Hey!" They all yelled.
I paced back and forth. I put my hand to my dog tag.
"Dude are you okay?" Zach said getting up. "Randy will be okay. We'll still get Lays."
"That's not what I'm worried about."
"Then what are you worried about?" Corbyn asked.
"I'm worried about the man and his daughter." I said.
"Why?" Jonah asked.
"That was my best friend's dad." I said. "Sarah. Didn't I tell you guys about her?"
