August 16
Jack was back from tour and we spent a lot of time together.
We spent some time in Utah during June and July so we went to Lagoon plenty of times.
We spent our independence day out there, and the fireworks were one of my favorite parts.
My most favorite part was being with him throughout all of it.
It was August now and I would be leaving soon to go to college.
The only problem was, I hadn't told Jack I'd be leaving in two days.
School starts on the 21st.
I leave on the 18th.
"Sarah wake up." Dillan said knocking on my door. "Mom said to come eat."
"I'll be there in a sec." I said as I quickly pulled my hair up into a high ponytail.
I slipped on some sweats over my spandex.
I walked out and into the kitchen.
My mom made pancakes.
I grabbed a plate and sat down next to Dillan.
"Sweetie what time did you get home last night?" Mr. Anderson asked Skylar.
"I came back around eleven." She said.
"So late." He pointed out. "I don't want you being out that late."
Skylar looked at me.
She needed help.
"Don't worry dad, she was with Jack and I most of the time." I said.
"Oh of course." He said softly. "What about you Kaleb? Didn't see you in bed last night."
"I was studying out late." He lied. "I called Sarah to pick me up."
I nodded. "Yeah, so Jack went to go pick him up while Skylar and I were doing eachother's make up at the boys' house."
"Speaking of picking someone up, are you and Jack going somewhere today?" My mom asked.
"Yeah why?" I asked.
"Because honey he's sitting outside waiting for you."
I immediately jumped out of my seat and ran to the door.
I opened it.
He laughed and waved at me.
I just smiled my goofy smile and waved over for him to come.
He unbuckled his seat belt and got out of the car.
"One of these days, our kids will be the ones reminding you that you need to go to work." He laughed walking up to me.
"Who said we're having kids?" I asked attempting to run away.
He grabbed me by the waist and pulled me back to him.
I turned to face him.
I placed a kiss on his lips.
"Pancakes?" He asked.
"Huh?" I was confused.
"I tasted the syrup."
I smiled and nodded.
We walked inside and he sat down in the seat next to me.
I grabbed out another plate and set it in front of him.
I put some pancakes on his plate and poured some syrup on them.
I closed the bottle and set it back on the middle of the table.
