Craig ran behind the next box, nearly avoiding the bullets that whizzed past him. He peeked around the corner and fired his AK, hitting one person before being forced to switch crates for the umpteenth time. He sat there for a moment, panting, the yelling in his ear, gunshots, and reloading sounds resonating around him. For a moment it all slowed down, then he went into hyper speed as he peeked out and shot again. Two more down.

Craig dove to the next crate and then began to shoot again. He looked around before taking more shots. He reloaded, sweat and blood dripping down his face. He had been pistol-whipped earlier, but someone else had shot them before they could kill Craig. Blood dripped down his left arm from where a bullet had grazed him. More blood gushed from his left knee, from when he had been tripped and had ripped open his skin. Gravel and dust had gotten into it, and Craig could only hope that he'd get it washed out before it got infected.

Craig peeked around the corner for a second, seeing where everything was, then pulled back. Bullets were fired where his face had been. Craig grit his teeth to keep himself from screaming when he felt a bullet go through the box and then through his left thigh. He pushed his hand on the wound, trying to stop the blood from flowing. He only succeeded in getting his left hand covered in blood. He heard a shot fire out, and then the man that had shot him fell to the ground. Somehow, despite Craig being the only one up on the higher platform in the warehouse, the man had been hit.

"That should be all of them except the boss," Lui said over the comms. "I can't find him. Everyone be on the lookout, he's probably hiding somewhere."

Craig was about to switch crates, just to make sure everyone was dead around him, when he felt something, an arm, come around his neck and squeeze. He screamed, trying to create as much noise as he could, until he felt the barrel of a gun pressed up against the side of his head. He let his own gun fall to the floor as the person jammed their own gun against his skull.

Gunfire sounded around them, someone obviously aiming for the boss without having seen Craig. He forced them both onto the ground and behind a crate.

"Stop shooting!" the loud voice behind Craig bellowed.

Craig choked, his hands moving to the arm as he tried to get it off of his throat. He struggled, but the arm didn't move.

"Everyone do rollcall!" Evan shouted over the comms. "Vanoss, here!"

"Wildcat, here!"

"Delirious, here!"

"Calibre, here!"

"Nogla, here!"

"Moo, here!"

"Terroriser, here!"

There was silence as they waited for Craig to shout out 'Mini, here'.

The gunfire stopped when Craig answered his comm. link with a choked breath. He gasped in a breath when the arm went slack for a second, then tightened even more.

"What do you want?" Evan yelled, coming out from his hiding place. Everyone else did the same. Evan had his gun aimed for the head of the man behind Craig.

"I want one thing. If you let me leave peacefully, then I'll leave here without killing this little one," the man suggested, his hold on Craig firm. "If any one of you raises up a gun, other than smart little Vanoss, this one here gets a bullet to the brain. Set your guns down and step out."

Craig heard Evan tell them to do as he said, and then he saw everyone appear from behind different things.

"Lay down your weapon, Vanoss, then consider my offer."

"No. I will not accept the terms. You don't deserve to get away from this alive. You only deserve to leave in a body bag, and that's being kind," Evan argued.

In a moment quicker than anyone saw, the man fired off two rounds then raised the gun back up to Craig's head.

Craig screamed, his hands moving to the new bullet wound in his left thigh, very close to the other. He wanted to put his hand over his left shin, where the other bullet had been fired, but he knew that there was more blood coming from his thigh. Tears trickled down his face, both from his impending fate and the pain.

"You want to try that answer again?" the man snarled. Craig whimpered, blood smeared on his skin. At least both bullets had been clean shots, straight through. It hurt like hell.

Evan's jaw tightened, and Craig could practically feel his mind whirring. He flipped around his gun and held up his hands, placing the gun on the floor.

The man behind Craig smiled. Craig knew because he could feel it against the top of his head.

"Let him go, and you can leave this warehouse peacefully," Evan said. "I swear."

The man smiled. "Good." He kissed the top of Craigs head then shoved him towards the railing. He pushed the gasping man over the edge, letting him fall the ten foot distance while he ran away.

Craig lost his breath when he hit the floor, his vision blurred. He could see everyone except for Tyler running after the man. Tyler was headed straight for Craig.

Tyler kneeled down next to Craig and looked him over. The fall didn't look to of hurt him, as he had outstretched his arms slightly and let them do some of the catching.

Tyler gathered Craig into his arms, making sure the shorter man still pressed his hands to his thigh. Craig coughed, blinking, trying to see though his teary eyes.

Craig whimpered when Tyler shifted his leg slightly, a short sob leaving his mouth.

"You'll be okay, you'll be okay," Tyler reassured.

Craig believed him. Time went past faster than Craig processed and then it all slowed down when he was in a bed back at home base. He had bandages wrapped around his leg and a bandage on his face where he had been pistol-whipped.

Tyler sat in a chair beside him, waiting for him to fully regain his consciousness.

"They caught him, you know," Tyler told Craig. "Put four bullets through him. Two in the thigh, one in the shin, then one through the side of the head."

Craig didn't say anything.

"I don't care about him, now. I'm just relieved that you're not the one with those same exact injuries."

Craig smiled, moving his hand and holding it open to Tyler. Tyler grabbed it gently then stood up. He sat on the edge of Craigs bed, just holding the hand of the person he loved and treasured the most.

"You know I'd do anything for you, right?" Tyler asked softly. "Anything in the world to make sure that you're okay..."

"I'd do the same for you."

There was a pause, and Tyler took a deep breath.

"I love you, you know. I don't want you to forget that."

"I never will. I love you too."

Tyler sighed, standing up to leave. The hand holding his pulled him back down. Tyler laughed lightly and laid down next to Craig.

"Stay, just for a little bit."

"Anything for you."

Craig smiled, lightly kissing Tyler.

"One day, I'll hold that to you," Craig whispered.

"I'll do just the same to you."

Tyler pulled him back for another kiss.
