I literally don't know anything about actually playing golf. I've never played a round, only some extended family does, so, yeah. I attempted it.

"Annnnd, he lines it up. Shooter McGavin pulls back and swings a few times. He-"
"Oh, my god, shut the fuck up, Lukas," Brian hissed, his hands shaking as his grip on the club tightened.
Lukas laughed, making the motions to zip his lips up and then lock them. For a moment, he felt a bit dizzy as he watched Brian swing back, then just before he hit the ball, he coughed loudly, making Brian jump and miss the thing entirely.
Brian whipped around, anger flaring in his eyes. "Stop!" he snapped, stopping himself from ruining etiquette and screaming on the fields.
Lukas covered his mouth and started laughing, eyes sparkling with mirth. He hadn't actually meant to do that, but the timing was perfect. "Sorry," he mumbled, a smile still on his face as he pulled away his hand.
Brian grumbled, then finally took a proper swing. He hit the ball, and a few seconds after, Lukas sneezed, quickly covering his mouth as he did so. He sniffled, wiping at his nose.
Brian raised an eyebrow. "You know, if you were trying to mess me up again, you were a little behind."
Lukas shook his head. "No, no, sorry. I actually just sneezed. I didn't mean to do that."
Lukas took Brian's spot, setting down his own ball. He took a few practice shots, seeing Brian's eyes on him. He took s breath, then before he swung he started coughing. He almost dropped his club as he continued to cough.
Brian lightly hit him on the back, looking a little worried. "Are you alright?" he asked, his hand still on Lukas' back.
Lukas nodded. "Yeah, I'm good. It's probably just allergies or I'm getting a cold or something. It's not a big deal."
Brian let his hand slip off of Lukas' shoulder and Lukas, if he was being honest, felt a little disappointed.
"If you say so," Brian said.
Lukas swung once more, hitting the Golfball towards the hole.
Lukas coughed a few more times, ignoring the sore feeling in the back of his throat. He'd be fine.

By the time Lukas and Brian finished hole 18, and were getting back to Brian's car, Lukas was feeling like shit. He loaded his golf clubs into the back of his friends car, then loaded Brian's. He proceeded to shut the trunk and slip into the passengers seat, waiting for Brian to put away his bag in the back seat. Brian got into the drivers seat and took in a deep breath and Lukas, once again, muffled some coughs.
"Do you want so Advil or something? There should be some in the glove department," Brian offered, glancing at Lukas as he pulled out of his parking spot.
"Do you have water?" Lukas asked.
Brian nodded. He reached into the back while waiting for another car to pull out, and handed a bottle to Lukas. Lukas took some Advil and then closed his eyes, taking in a deep breath. Then slowly letting it out, resisting the urge to cough heavily. He took in another breath and just continued the cycle.
In. Out. In... then out. In, two, three, four, five...
Lukas whimpered when Brian drove over a bump, closing his eyes and letting his head gently fall into his hands.
Brian, although Lukas didn't see, was tense as he drove, trying his best to avoid any bumps or cracks in the road. When they finally arrived back at Brian's house, Lukas was asleep.
Brian gently opened Lukas' door and pulled him out, being careful so he wouldn't jostle the other man. Lukas shifted in his arms slightly, a soft groan leaving his mouth, but other than that there was no indication that he was awake or uncomfortable.
Brian carried Lukas upstairs and into his room, gently laying him on the bed. He left, then returned with a glass of water and some cold medicine. He wrote a note that said he was going out to buy groceries, and then put it next to the water. He left the house quickly, hoping to leave Lukas alone for a maximum of half an hour.
The half an hour turned an hour, then an hour and a half went by before Brian finally got back home. He had more medicine, some soup, and some tea, as well as some other various things. He walked into the kitchen to see Lukas sitting at the table, phone in mid-text. Lukas had obviously fallen asleep while texting.
Brian went over to see who Lukas had been texting, and was surprised to see it was him. He was even more surprised to see what it said. 'Please comw bsck I feel loke sji'.
Brian turned off the phone and gently pressed a hand to Lukas' forehead, relived to feel a normal temperature. He really did just have a terrible head cold.
Gently, Brian woke up Lukas, and helped him onto the couch. He made the man soup after getting him settled, and then gently sat down next to him.
Lukas was sleepy, and when he finished his soup he was basically asleep already. It only took the action of setting down the bowl to tire him, and he slumped against Brian, face pressing into his shoulder comfortably.
Brian just sighed, gently running his hands through Lukas' hair. He could feel how Lukas relaxed under him and a soft smile appeared on his face. Brian gently kissed Lukas' head, and froze after he realized what he did.
Lukas groaned softly. "Do that again," he mumbled, snuggling against Brian even more.
"Do what?"
"Kiss me again," Lukas grumbled. "But lower. Like my lips."
Brian let out a soft breath, a lovesick smile on his face. "Maybe when you're feeling better. Then you can ask me again, okay?"
"I will," Lukas mumbled. "I promise."
Brian let Lukas get closer, and he realized that maybe actually golfing wasn't too bad after all.
