Tyler held onto Craig's hand tightly, the other man much closer to him than he had been before. Tyler was unwilling to let Craig go anywhere further than a few feet away from him until they got home.

When the two left the large crowds of the big city and started walking into a more suburb area, they slowed down their pace and were able to walk a little bit further away than before.

When Craig started to walk like he was drunk, or at least a little tipsy, Tyler decided that his boyfriend was too tired to function correctly. Which, as he just witnessed, he was indeed too tired to function correctly.

Tyler slowed to a stop, making Craig stop too, who stumbled a little when he turned around.

"Why'd ya' stooop?" Craig slurred, blinking slowly, leaving heavily against Tyler.

"Because you're tired and you're not walking right. Seriously, Craig, you're stumbling like you're drunk."

Craig hummed. "Carry me baby," he murmured, pressing against Tyler.

Tyler laughed. He gently picked up his boyfriend bridal style, letting Craig nuzzle into his neck. His breath was warm on Tyler skin, a stark contrast against the cold weather.

"I loooove you," Craig sang, gently kissing Tyler's shoulder.

"I love you too, Craig."

The rest of the walk was mostly in silence, with a few soft snores from Craig, where he had fallen asleep in Tyler's arms, and some rustling of fabric from whenever Tyler shifted the man in his arms.

When Tyler finally reached home, he shifted Craig so he was carrying him on his hip, as if he was a toddler. He unlocked the front door and stepped inside, locking it behind him and setting down his keys.

Tyler slipped off his jacket and somehow managed to take his jacket off without waking up Craig or setting him down. Tyler shifted Craig once more, holding him up by his thighs so that his head rested on his shoulder and his legs were limply wrapped around his waist.

Tyler made his way upstairs, caressing Craig's thigh absentmindedly as he did so. He gently set his boyfriend down on the bed in their dark bedroom, shifting him around a little so he was comfortable.

Tyler made sure all the blinds were closed and then he closed the door. Tyler undressed himself, then slipped into he shower quietly, running the water much hotter than he needed to.

Tyler came back to see that Craig had curled up and started to shiver.

Tyler undressed Craig, then tucked him into bed with only a pair of boxers, which was how he usually slept. Tyler turned up the heat in their room a little, smiling when he saw Craig stop his minimal shivering.

Tyler threw on a pair of sweatpants and left Craig in the room, making sure to plug in his phone before he left.

Tyler made sure their doors were locked and then he picked up the mess that was in the couch from before they left. He folded blankets and put away dishes from their early dinner. He grabbed his laptop and chargers and brought them upstairs with him. He plugged them in on his desk in his office, and then he finally got back into the room he shared with Craig.

Tyler was a little bit surprised to see that Craig had completely curled in on himself, practically holding his knees to his chest. As Tyler shut the door behind him, he saw how rigid his boyfriend looked and he made his way to the bed.

Tyler slipped under the covers and gently slipped his right hand into Craig's hand and ran his left hand through Craig's hair. Craig immediately relaxed with his touch, but he was still a little tense.

Tyler gently caressed Craig's face with the hand that had been slowly combing through his hair. He pulled him a little closer, wrapping the arm that had been holding onto his hand around his waist.

Their legs were against the others and their chests were touching. Craig instinctively moved his head to Tyler's shoulder.

They shifted a little, so that Tyler was in his back. Craig was basically covering half of his body with his own, his head resting on his chest, hands intertwined and laying on the other side of Tyler's chest. Their legs were tangled up. Tyler was slowly running his hands through Craig's hair, and he finally felt Craig completely relax against him.

"I love you," Tyler murmured, gently kissing Craig's forehead. He feels Craig's breath against his chest, and he finally closes his own eyes, exhausted from the eventful day they had.

As he was falling asleep, Tyler swore he had heard Craig softly murmur: 'I love you too, Ty.'
