"Evan, are you coming or not?" Tyler yelled down the hall, waiting for his boyfriend to come down from upstairs. He sighed, tapping his fingers against his leg as he waited for the Asian man to appear.

"I don't want to go, I'm uploading, and I need to make sure it works!" Evan yelled from his recording room. "I'm busy."

Tyler groaned, a huff leaving his mouth. He went up the stairs, taking two at a time, and swung the door to Evans recording room wide open.

"Come on, Evan. You promised me we could go to dinner, then on a walk, once you were done editing. It can upload while we're away, you know that. We're walking there and then we're going to walk back. That will give it plenty of time to upload, okay? Now, let's go before I have to actually drag you out of this room."

"Why can't we drive?"

"Because I want to get some exercise in today, and it's gorgeous outside. The chance of it raining is literally ten percent, and it's, like, sixtyfive degrees outside. It's not even buggy, and you don't have allergies to worry about. It's perfect. Now, let's go."

"Tyler..."

"No, okay? At least you're already dressed. Can we please go before we lose our reservation?"

Evan sighed, but he pushed his chair away from his desk and stood up.

"You're just getting me back for making you work out with me, aren't you? When I made us run up and down the stairs for, like, ten minutes?" Evan questioned.

"Evan, my legs have never been more on fire since that Tuesday, and I intend to keep it that way for a while. Now, come on, walking this distance isn't even close to what you did. It's not like we're going to be running up a hill for a very long amount of time, okay? Let's just go before we actually do have to run to make our reservation."

Evan rolled his eyes. He followed Tyler downstairs and out the front door.

"How long is this walk going to be?" he asked, turning around to lock the front door.

"Like... Ten minutes, I think. Not too long, I promise," Tyler assured. He saw Evan roll his eyes again. "Stop rolling your eyes, Evan, I'm taking you out to dinner."

Evan gave him a shit eating grin before he finished locking the door.

"Saying thank you would be nice, for a change," Tyler mumbled under his breath, starting to walk away without Evan.

Evan ran a little to keep up with Tyler. He looked up to his boyfriend. "Did you say something?" he asked, gently grabbing Tyler's hand and intertwining their fingers.

Tyler shook his head. No, nothing important to you, anyways.

They walked like this for the rest of their adventure into town. When they did arrive at the restaurant, Evan let go of Tyler's hand, checking his phone while Tyler told the restaurant about their reservation. They got their seats, a booth against the back wall, mostly secluded, and ordered their drinks.

"See, now that walk wasn't so bad, was it?" Tyler teased, lightly hitting Evans leg with hit foot.

Evan just stuck out his tongue. Tyler smirked, licking his lips. He stuck his own tongue out slightly, gently biting down on it, a sparkle in his eyes. Evan could see what he was doing, and the suggestive look made him blush a deep red. Evan pulled his tongue back into his mouth and looked back down at his menu, avoiding the gaze of the tall man across from him.

The waitress came by and took their orders, clearly checking out Tyler as she did so. She left with a wink to Tyler and a slight glare to Evan.
