So, this was actually a prompt I found, and I changed it a little. I don't remember where I found it, I screenshotted it ages ago, but I'm finally doin it.

The 'I can't ice skate but you can' AU that was originally 'im clumsy and fell into your arms while ice skating and wow you're really attractive' AU that still kind of is The 'im clumsy and fell into your arms while ice skating and wow you're really attractive' AU.

I wrote something happy! Yay!

Jonathan whined as he was pulled onto the ice. "I swear to god, Daithi, stop it."

"No, ye fockin' cunt. Yer goin' skatin'," Daithi grunted, pushing Jonathan onto the ice with a huff. Jonathan flailed his arms before falling onto his ass.

"Leave him alone, David," Lui said, rolling his eyes. "Let him suffer in his own time. You can get sued if you keep pushing him or something."

Jonathan whined, flailing his arms from the ground. "Luiiiiiii, he's being mean and you aren't making it any better."

"Well, we live in Canada, so I can't see why you don't know how to skate, and we were going to do this at some point anyways, so why not just suffer now so you don't have to suffer later?" Lui offered with a shrug.

Jonathan pouted. "You guys are no fun, not anymore! We used to go to the arcade or spend hours playing video games!"

Lui rolled his eyes. "Jon, this is literally one of the only times we haven't done that. We still do that. We were gonna do that next time we get together."

Jonathan just grumbled and shakily stood up again, with the help of Lui. He whined when Lui gently pushed him, and he slipped and fell once more.

"It's so hard! I don't have any balance! This sucks!"

Lui and Daithi laughed at the same time, watching as Jonathan struggled to stand on his own. He eventually managed to get up, with some help from Daithi, got a few steps away, then fell on his ass again.

"This is so hard!" Jonathan whined, slamming his hands down on the ice in annoyance.

"Well, were gonna leave you here, so you don't continue to embarrass us and instead just embarrass yourself, okay?" Lui said, nodding like he was talking to a young child or toddler.

Jonathan whined, just as a kid might, and watched as Lui and Daithi skated away.

He attempted to stand up, but just kind of slipped and so he sat back down with a huff, watching everyone go by.

Jonathan figured that, if he didn't try, he wouldn't fall again. He couldn't hurt himself any more than he already had.

The sound of someone skating up to him, then stopping, made him glance up. There was a young man there, Asian with dark hair and dark eyes and damn he was attractive.

"I couldn't help but notice your friends left you, and it seems to me as though you've given up," he said. He held out a hand. "I'm Evan. If you're interested, I can help you learn. I used to do it with younger kids for a part-time job."

"That would actually be really nice," Jonathan said, gently grabbing his hand. "I'm Jonathan, but usually just Jon."

Evan nodded, helping Jonathan stand up. His warm hand was a stark contrast to the cold weather.

"Alright, so, I'd like you to just try to push off so I can see what you're doing."

Jonathan attempted to move, but when he picked up his foot he wobbled. Evan held onto his shoulder to steady him.

Evan showed him how to push off, then how to slowly stop. Jonathan tried it while holding onto Evan, for a little while, then he did it without Evan and he almost fell, but managed to stay upright.

"Good job!" Evan said, clapping his hands together with excitement. "You did it! Yay!"

Jonathan laughed a little. "I had a good teacher. Is there anything else?"

"Well, that's literally the bare minimum, but I'd be happy to help you speed up a little."

Jonathan smiled. "Sure! That would be great, actually!"

Evan took his hand and spun him, then gently pushed him. Eventually, with a few falls from Jonathan, they were both skating around the rink at a kind of fast speed.

"Hey, I'm going to go get some more water, but I will be back, I promise," Evan said, gently skating away. Jonathan continued to skate around, making a few laps before Evan came back.

Jonathan skated back towards him and threw up his arms. Evan opened his own, and Jonathan flew into them, hitting him hard enough to knock him over.

Evan landed with a groan, but he had kept his head from hitting the ground.

"Jeez, Jon, slow down a little next time," Evan mumbled from the ground.

Jonathan laughed, then they both seemed to realize the situation. Jonathan was straddling Evan, and their faces were extremely close.

"Evan, how do I get up?"

Evan groaned and let his head hit the ice, a breath laugh leaving him.

"Just get off me, Jon, the I'll help you up myself."

Jonathan, somehow, managed to get off of Evan then he he stood up when Evan held out his hand. The two, again, were incredibly close, until a loud, squeaky voice yelling 'Jonathan' broke them out of their moment.

Jonathan pulled away, missing the sad look on Evan's face.

Lui was skating towards him, and he stopped to a halt a few feet away. Daithi slowly lumbered after him.

"So you can finally skate! I told you you'd be able to do that! What I did not tell you to do was to meet one of the people on the offensive line for one of Canadas fucking pro hockey teams, Jonathan."

Jonathan blinked, and turned to Evan in amazement. "Really?"

Evan nodded sheepishly.

"Yeah, really. Jonathan, meet Evan Fong, one of the best fucking hockey players according to statistics."

Evan looked down sheepishly.

"Why hasn't anyone else recognized him?"

"Because, we're the only other people here besides, like, two really white girls drinking Starbucks, and although I'm not one to judge, I don't think they know who Evan is," Daithi mumbled.

Jonathan mumbled a soft 'true' under his breath.

"Well, nonetheless, I'd still like your phone number," Evan said, winking.

Jonathan blushed as Lui 'ooohh'-ed at him.

Jonathan nodded and held out his phone, taking Evan's to exchange numbers.

"Call me," Evan said, skating towards his things on the other side of the rink with a little wave.

"He's hot," Jonathan whined, making Lui and Daithi laugh.
