Travis' POV

Sitting down in the tree, I watch as Aaron furiously throws a knife at the ground. He stops dead in his tracks, and looks up exactly where I'm sitting. "Travis. What are you doing here?" He asks, his voice slightly on edge.

I watch as he slips something into his pocket, but I keep my face blank. "Katelyn's in danger. I know it was your Father's fault, because of the cut that's on her arm." I tell him, and he mumbles something under his breath.

He looks back up at me, and throws a knife, but I barely dodge it. "I may be a Lyken, but I do not control my Father." He says, pulling the thing out of his pocket. I look at it curiously, and he smirks. "What is that?" I ask, jumping down from the tree. "This? This is the last amount of healing potion we have left on Earth.

This is the last small container of life that our kind will ever see again. I would give it to you, but it'll cost you something- something very valuable.." He says, and I stare at it for a couple of moments. "What do you want for it?" I ask, grabbing onto my knife in my back pocket. He smirks as though I'm already wrapped around his thumb.

"Bring me Jeffory."

Jeffory's POV

"Jeffory, you can't stay here forever. You have school, and you still live with your Father." My Mom tells me, handing me a bowl of chicken noodle soup. "Mom, I know I have to. It's just... I can't forgive myself for what I did. What I did to Katelyn." I say truthfully, and she sighs.

"Your Father and I went through the same thing when we were your age. Yes, our marriage didn't work out, but we still loved each other no matter how much pain it dragged us through." She tells me, and I sit down on a barstool, looking straight into her eyes.

I watch as her dark green eyes switch to a light blue, and I feel my breath hitch. My heart starts racing, and somehow in that three seconds of when I was looking at my Mother, she switched entirely to Katelyn. "Katelyn?" I ask carefully, making sure I'm not daydreaming.

It shouldn't even be considered daydreaming- this is a full on nightmare. "J-Jeffory?" I hear her stutter, her exact voice managing to make it's way to my ears. I lift my hand up, and rub my thumb gently across her cheek. It's really her. She grabs my hand that's on her cheek, and her eyes widen. "It's really you." She says, and a smile makes it's way onto my face.

"Am I dreaming?" I ask, and she looks me straight in the eyes. "No." She says, and I stand up from my chair. She looks at me cautiously, and not even caring, I straight up kiss her. She lightly shoves me back, and hugs me. "I didn't know how to react, I'm sorry." She whispers, and I lightly chuckle.

"That's okay." I tell her, and I hear her start to sniffle. "Katelyn... I know this probably isn't you right now, but if it is, I need to tell you I love you." I whisper, and she looks up at me, a full on frown on her face.

Before I figure out what's happening, real life makes it way back to me, and I'm not looking down at Katelyn. I'm looking into the eyes of The Demon Warlock's son.

Gold's POV

"C'mon Joslyn, we have to go home." I tell her, attempting to pull her away from the hospital. She's silent, and I know tears are running down her face when I hear her sniffle. I let go of her arm, and she falls onto her knees.

"Ten percent chance of survival, Gold. Ten percent chance." She whispers, her voice somewhat steady. "Joslyn. I don't want to be rude, but she's not dead yet. Ten is still a higher number than zero."

I tell her bluntly, and she stands up while looking at me. "We need Jeffory." She says, not looking at me, and she starts walking back to the car. That was easier than expected.

The Next Day

Eric's POV

"Where is my daughter?!" I yell into the phone, my hands slightly shaking. I hear someone start typing, and I start taking quick breaths. "Eric- you're daughter is in the ICU at the hospital." I hear the man say, and I drop the phone, running and quickly getting into my car.

I pull out of my driveway, and drive probably a straight ninety miles per hour to the hospital. I hear sirens go off, directing me to pull over, but I don't. You expect me to take another hour out of my day just to get a stupid ticket when my daughter is in the ICU?! Heck no.

I pull into the hospital parking lot, and park my car quickly. Getting out, I sprint towards the hospital, the sirens still ringing in my ears. The cop car pulls straight in front of me, blocking my path. "I demand you to-" The man starts to say, and I grab onto the collar of his shirt, and chuck him to the ground.

I'm totally gonna get arrested. Running into the hospital, I take the elevator to the second floor, and run into the waiting room of the ICU. Crap, I don't have the code to get in. I watch as someone picks up the telephone next to the door, and they say some numbers into it. The bulb on the door turns green, and they open it slowly.

There's a sink next to the door, so I pretend to wash my hands, and grab the door at the last second. I walk in, doctor's talking, but overall it's really quiet in here. I walk up to the desk, and a younger looking lady looks up at me. "Where's Katelyn?" I ask, slightly out of breath.

"Katelyn Azura?" She asks, and I nod. "Oh... I'm so sorry, but we can't let you see miss Azura right now." She says, and I'm tempted to slam my fists on the table. But I don't. "She's in a very critical condition, and we have doctors watching and caring for her around the clock." She adds on, and I sigh. "I'm her father... Can I please just look at her through the window?" I ask, and she hesitates, but nods. She leads me to her room, and I pull the curtains, so I can look at her. And she's laying on the bed, scars all over her body, and I feel tears in my eyes. The lady puts a hand on my shoulder, and I feel tears start to roll down my cheeks. "Thank you." I whisper, and she slowly nods.

What happened to her?

Joslyn's POV

"Mom, where is Jeffory?" I ask, both worried and angered. She doesn't say anything for a couple of seconds, and then stutters, "H-He was kidnapped." I stand there, wide eyed, and I see Gold's jaw clench. "Travis..." I hear him whisper, and I turn my head towards him. "The Demon Warlock's son?" I ask, bewildered. He nods, and I walk straight out of the house. I close my eyes, and just let the wind blow through my hair.

He's taking him to Aaron.
