Well, this may or may not be the last chapter. Lots of people will die, you probably will be confused by what happens, but it'll be great. Please listen to the song above, it really fits this story!

Enjoy!

Katelyn's POV

We stand there for a couple of moments, nothing but silence lingering. Travis' breathing pattern is sucking in short breaths while coughing every other three seconds. It's not too loud, but I wouldn't be surprised if everyone knew he was scared.

I mean, I'm scared and I barely even know these people. "Surprised, are we Travis?" The Demon Warlock asks with a slight tinge of humor in his deep voice. Travis doesn't reply, but now holds a large silver dagger behind his back.

"Aren't you gonna talk to me? After all we've been through... wouldn't you want to talk to your own father? After figuring out he wasn't dead?" Too much sarcasm is laced in his voice, and I speak up. "Why are you here? We haven't done anything to try and stop you yet you come to kill us? Come to kill your own flesh and blood?"

Derek is the first one to flash a distasteful smile. "Well, we're pretty could at killing mortals, it's kind of our job," Derek continues, "So why not finish off with our grand finale, the hospital. A place crowded with injured and vulnerable people." I stare at him, disgusted.

Kill a whole hospital full of people? I turn, suddenly realizing that the floor we're on is mysteriously quiet. I peer into the door next to me, and a little boy with a bald head lays in a bed, sleeping soundly. Where are all the doctors? Nurses? Anyone?

"Yes it all sounds so morbid, but we figured; they're already suffering. Why not just give them a quick and painless death?" The Demon Warlock laughs, and my eyes fix onto the little boy again. He doesn't even look to be eight years old and this man here supposedly wants to kill him.

I look over at the whiteboard in front of his door:

Jason Anderson
Six Years Old
Lung Cancer - Curable

I go lost for words. This kid is only six. This time Jeffory speaks up. "The police are already coming. You don't possibly have enough time to kill everyone in this hospital and survive." Relief floods through me. He's right.

The Demon Warlock smiles. "Do you think we're killing every person singlehandedly? No, we're taking the much easier route." Only one word flashes in my mind, bomb. Is it already in the hospital? Is it already counting down to zero so it can blow us into bits and pieces?

I do the first thing that comes to mind, get everyone out of the hospital. "Create a distraction while I get everyone out." I whisper into Travis' ear. He nods, and walks towards the two men. This seems to catch them off guard.

I run into Jason's room.

Gold's POV

My hands shake from the cold, and I press my head against the smooth bark. Why did I do that? Why did I let my feelings control me? And I just left, making it even worse. Katelyn could be alive, but they could also be in danger. Thinking about any of them being killed makes me wince.

"You gotta go back Gold. For family... for friends." I whisper to myself, and I walk back towards the now small looking hospital. Did I really walk that far? I start jogging, reserving my energy for the horrors that may lie inside the front doors.

It started off with the ringing of my ears, from shrapnel shooting out various parts of the building, to screams and cries of the people inside. Oh no. Someone's blowing up the hospital. It started at the top, probably hundreds of bombs going off. Slowly making its way to the bottom.
