I started watching Stranger Things on Netflix, and started getting really bored of it. I mean... Alien light abduction? What the heck? Why is the show even popular? I almost finished the whole first episode though!

Joslyn's POV
The hospital. What used to be a peaceful place where you can mourn with others is now a total bloodbath. Right when the three of us walked into the building, we almost got trampled. Everybody was throwing punches, kicking, and screaming at the top of their lungs, "Run for your lives!"
Jessie and Gold stand there shocked while I scan the fighting for any signs of Jeffory. Did he save Katelyn yet? Only about ten people are still fighting, all of the others either unconscious... or dead looking. We run past them, only one thought racing through my mind, Where's Jeffory?
"Joslyn, please slow down." I hear Gold pant, and I glance back at him. "Aren't you part dragon? Shouldn't you be the fastest one here?" I ask him harshly, and I see a tick in his jaw. I honestly didn't want to come off that way, but I'm afraid.
"You know what Joslyn? I've had enough of you the last five years. First off, you never learned how to stand up for yourself. All you do is slack off and moan about your problems. Well guess what? We've all got them. It was our parents that got divorced, our family that got torn apart. That doesn't make you the only one that got it bad."
Gold shoves me, and I feel my back collide with the wall. And Jessie grabs him by the shoulder. "Gold, now's not the time to have sibling problems. You either shut up, or get the heck out of here," He quickly pulls his shoulder away from her grasp, glaring at me as he runs out of the building.
"You really did shove a stick up his butt." Jessie scowls, and I take in a deep breath. We'll be fine without him. No questions are asked when we make our way to the staircase. But once we're there, a gunshot goes off.
I leave Jessie behind, all of my fears tearing at me as I ascend the stairs. What floor should I go to? Being the curious person I am, I go through the second floor doors. And I'm acquainted with a familiar man standing in front of me, his mouth pulled back into a sneer with a needle in his hand.
Landon.
Gasping for breath, he grabs me roughly by the shoulder. I kick his side, bite his hand, anything that'll make him drop the weapon in his hand. After a couple more seconds of fighting, I hear the metal land the floor.
"You think a young helpless girl like you can stop me?" He sneers, and my eyes widen. Standing behind him is Jeffory and Jessie, Katelyn being supported in between the both of them. Smiling, Landon turns around confused and Jessie smacks him upside the head with something I don't want to know.
He falls onto the ground, hopefully only unconscious. And I look up to see my big brother smiling at me.
"You guys did it." He says, both a mixture of exhaustion and relief in his words. They lean the almost drunk looking Katelyn against the wall, and I wrap my arms around his neck.
"Where's Gold?"
"He pansied his way somewhere lost into the deepest parts of Ganon's Castle." Jessie cuts in, and I laugh at the mention of my beloved childhood video game. Wait, Jeffory remembered Jessie? "Wait, you remembered who Jessie was?" I ask Jeffory, and he grins at me.
"Of course I do. It was like looking into a mirror, well besides the gender part." He smiles at Jessie, and I suddenly wished Gold were here.
"Katelyn!"
The three of us turn, and the white haired man comes running towards Katelyn. Katelyn stands up, smiling, and they hug each other. Oh no. An orange haired girl comes in a couple seconds later, and two hooded figures walk in behind her.
I turn to look towards Jessie, and we share the same confused and scared expressions. Katelyn knows this strange white haired boy and there's two mysterious people walking in who look oddly familiar. And they both take off their hoods simultaneously.

Hey guys! Sorry for having such a short chapter, but I promise the next one will be long and exhilarating.
I honestly am kinda done with the characters commenting after the chapter, because it's getting really weird. *Cough* last chapter *Cough*
Anyways, this book is going to be ending very soon, and I hopefully have some good plans for the future.
A new book will be coming out sometime in February that both me and Goldendragonseal will be working on together, so get pumped up for that! I may also have some new ideas for original books, or possibly some type of fan-fiction! (Possibly Divergent or something else)
Most of the characters in this story belong to Aphmau, everything else is either Original or Fan-Made. For the thousandth time, thank you guys so much for the support these last two or so years, I wouldn't be here without it.
