I laid in bed next to Mackenzie in nothing but my boxers. And she was just in a hoodie. We had had sex. Although it wasn't the first time we had sex it was the first time we both remembered it and it seemed it was all that was on my mind now. I started to get this familiar itch in the back of my mind that made my stomach flip. She was so different than my ex, but I still loved her. I was very confused. Had I even loved my ex? Of course I did, or else I wouldn't have been in such a bad spot when she left. But why did I love Mackenzie so much more if she was so much different. Maybe my 'type' changed. Or maybe I changed. Mackenzie sitting up abruptly made me jump. She forced a small smile as she took a few deep breaths. "Sorry, couldn't breathe." She mumbled, adjusting the tube pressed against her face. "Are you alright?" I asked as I sat up, placing a hand on her back. She nodded slowly. "You don't look alright." I said. She rolled her eyes. "Wow. Thanks. You look good too." She said sarcastically before she slowly laid back down, facing me this time. "That's not what I meant." I said, shaking my head. "I know what you meant. I'm fine, Simon." I laid back down too and we spent a few moments staring at each other before she spoke again. "Why are you still awake?" She asked. I thought about my answer for a few seconds, throwing the idea of telling her how I felt around in my head. We had only officially gotten together four days ago, though I had had this burning affection for her way before then. I decided not to tell her I loved her yet, in fear of jeopardizing our relationship. I would wait until I thought she - and I - were ready. "Just thinking." I shrugged. "Is that a -" "Simon!" My name being called from downstairs cut her off, thankfully. I looked at what time it was on my phone and groaned. It was nearly four in the morning. But it didn't sound like anyone's voice that lived here, no. It sounded like Lux's. "I'll be back." I told Mackenzie, getting out of bed and throwing on some shorts and a t-shirt, just because he would be vlogging and the people of the internet hadn't seen me shirtless before. And I planned to keep it that way. High self-esteems weren't really my thing. Once I finally got downstairs and into the kitchen, Lux was sat with Josh. "Where's your girlfriend?" He asked, his camera pointed at me. I shook my head at him, telling him he couldn't say that to his vlog. And he understood it, thankfully. "Hello, Simon!" He yelled instead, completely ignoring his previous question. It wasn't like I was embarrassed to call Mackenzie my girlfriend - I was far from that, actually. I was just a bit wary to tell people we were together, especially this soon. "It's four in the morning, Cal." I said, frowning. "Why did you call me?" I asked. "I wanted to show you my tattoo." He said, holding his wrist out to me. "Wow." I said, looking down at the small number 13 that was on his wrist. "Where's Mackenzie? I want to show her too." He looked up at me from behind his camera, smirking. "I'll go get her." I said. I walked quickly out of the room and up the stairs, eager to go get Mackenzie. I was glad she got on so well with the guys and seeing them hang out together made me happy. She was on her phone when I came back to the room, the tube that was once on her face was no longer there. "Lux is here. He has something to show you. He's vlogging." I said quickly. "If you don't want to come down you don't have to. I know you have that photoshoot and everything." She shook her head, smiling. "I'll be down in a minute." I nodded, a small smile on my face before leaving the room.

*Mackenzie's POV*

I was kind of hoping that what Cal had to show me was his new dog, but I doubted it. Only because I knew he wouldn't bring it over here. But I still wanted to meet the famous Herbert. I put on a bra and exchanged my hoodie for a SDMN jumper that actually fit me. I usually wore a lot of baggy clothing so when I wore fitted things or things that didn't completely swallow me you could actually see how small I was, which I didn't necessarily mind. Although I used to be bullied, I made a career from my figure. I slid on some Nike joggers too before making sure my hair was presentable and heading downstairs. My hair was in a high ponytail, the ends still reaching to about my shoulder blades. "Is little Herbert here?" I asked, announcing my arrival into the kitchen. "Nope. I got a tattoo!" Lux yelled, holding out his wrist. I looked down at it and sighed, shaking my head. "Unlucky, mate." I said. "But for real, next time you get me out of bed at four in the morning, Herbert better be here." I said as I walked towards the fridge. "There's pizza over here." Josh's voice made me stop and turn around, only now noticing the Domino's on the counter. "Can we talk about how much you eat?" Lux asked, his camera still pointed at me as I grabbed a slice of pizza. "You don't actually eat that much in one sitting but you eat constantly." Josh said, laughing as he explained my eating habits. "So does Simon." I said innocently, pointing at him. "I'm not the one eating pizza." He said, shaking his head at me. I rolled my eyes, giving up on the argument as Cal put his camera away. But it felt good to have them joking with me. I knew that these boys letting me in would be difficult for them - all of them - and the fact they were starting to do that made me incredibly happy.
