It took Aludra several wrong turns, dead ends and scarily shaky staircases to find the hospital wing. When she did, she walked in timidly and walked down the marble floor, eyes scanning each bed she passed. When she caught sight of him, Aludra grinned and skipped over eagerly.

"Hiya, Neville!" she greeted, giggling when he jumped and gaped at her. Before he could speak his mind, Aludra did so for him. "I'm not here because I feel sorry for you. I'm here because I wanted to see if you were alright, and I have your Remembrall, too. I suppose it's hard to remember that you forgot your Remembrall when you don't have your Remembrall!"

"I forgot you could d-do that," he stammered, looking amazed.

"It seems like everyone does, really. Here," Aludra held out the Remembrall and Neville took it gratefully, looking appalled when it glowed red.

"What did I forget this time?" he moaned. Aludra evaluated him closely before coming to a conclusion.

"I think you forgot that you forgot your robes again, Neville," she said. The ball was clear once more.

"Wow, you're way better than a Remembrall," he chuckled, and Aludra laughed. There was a short, comfortable silence before Neville gestured to the end of his bed. "You can sit, if you like."

"Oh, thank you." Aludra said, sitting on the edge of the mattress delicately, not wanting to aggravate his injury. "How's your wrist?"

"Oh, Madam Pomfrey healed it in a minute," Neville said, waving his left hand about for emphasis. Aludra tilted her head to the side.

"Why are you still here, then?" she questioned.

"Madam Pomfrey said that she wants to keep me under observation until after dinner." Neville explained. Remembering that she had just come from lunch, Aludra asked him if he had eaten anything yet. Neville told her that Madam Pomfrey had conjured up sandwiches from the kitchens so he was full and well taken care of. The two Gryffindors made conversation about their time so far at the school and classes they liked and disliked until the bell rang. When it did, Aludra got up and straightened out her skirt. "It was pleasant talking with you, Neville. I trust you'll be in classes again by tomorrow?"

"Yeah, I'm being discharged tonight. Thanks for stopping by," Neville said, smiling shyly. Aludra waved goodbye and walked out of the hospital wing in a far better mood than when she first entered.
