Chapter Fourteen

In the morning,  I woke up in Joeys room. Joey was still fast asleep. I checked the time. It was 10:34 am.
"Shit" I said quickly getting up.  "Joey we were meant to be at the last rehearsal five minutes ago!" I shouted waking him up. "Oh crap" he said getting up. I threw on my jeans from last night. Joey started getting dressed too.
I looked outside, it was pouring rain. "Do you think I have time to run over to my room? I have no jacket".
"Just put one of mine on" he said pointing at his drawer, I grabbed a black hoodie out and threw it on.
It was actually really cosy. I put on my shoes and looked at Joey, he was dressed.

We both started sprinting down the stairs and when we got to the bottom joey shouted "Oh shit!".
"What?!" I asked. "I forgot the car keys!".
"Were just going to have to run" I shouted taking off in the direction of the theatre. When we arrived at the theatre we were out of breath and gasping for air. We entered the stage and everyone was staring at us, we had messy hair and we're sweaty. This probably looked really and for us.

"Guys you're 15 minutes late!" Nick said "What happened?!".

"Don't even ask" We said collapsing into the seats.

After rehearsals we were all buzzing for tomorrow night. The  play was for five nights so it was going to be a busy week.
I went over to Joey.
"Man I'm starving! We didn't even get breakfast this morning!" I groaned hugging him.
"I know Ella im dying of hunger, where are we going to eat?".
"I was going to ask you the exact same thing".
"How does a feast of McDonald's chicken nuggets sound?".
"Absolutely incredible".

Luckily there was a McDonald's near campus so we didn't have to walk too far.
"Two large Fries and a 20 pack chicken nugget please" Joey said to the person at the counter. We sat down and waited for our food.

"Today was a lot of fun Ella".
"What part of it was fun?" I laughed "Running a marathon or starving ourselves?".
"Being with you was the fun part".

"Youre so cringy" I laughed "I love it".

"I love you".
"I love you more."

Our food arrived and we literally devoured it in seconds.
I got a text from my mum.

Hello Pet, just wondering if you could take Alex for tonight, your father and I want to go out for some drinks x

"My mum wants me to babysit Alex tonight, you interested?" I asked
"Yeah oh my god I'd love to meet your sister!".

Yeah that's okay, Me and Joey will be at your hotel as soon as we can x

"Maybe we should take the car" Joey suggested. "Yeah come on, let's go".

Joey and I had to walk to Joeys room, grab the keys and then walk to the car. We drove to the hotel my family were staying in.
We parked the car and headed up to the room.
We knocked on the door and my Dad answered. "Oh hello, you must be joey" he said giving joey a handshake "Jenny! Ella and Joey are here!".

My mum rushed to the door with a huge grin on her face. "Joey it is so wonderful to finally meet you! Ella never stops chatting about you".
"Mommm" I groaned. 
"What? It's the truth. Oh and Joey dear thank you very much for the chocolates and flowers, but there was honestly no call. Thank you so much".
"Yeah I'm very sorry Ms Harris about being unable to attend".
"Don't be silly and please call me Jenny and call him Matthew. Alex you ready sweetie!" She called.
Alex ran to the door.
"Yup I'm ready!".
"I'm so sorry yous couldn't stay longer, but we want to get out a soon ass possible".
"Don't worry about it Mom".
"Thank you very much dear".
