Not Alone: A Starkid Fanfiction

I sat in my history lecture, I clicked my pen off my desk, I was in the middle of a daydream when I was brought back to reality by the sound of the announcements.

Attention students, We are sorry to interrupt classes or lectures. We would like to announce that the library building is being closed for the next few days as it is being refurbished.  Over these days you can go to the computer labs to do assignments or if you need to use the printers or photocopiers. The Drama Club has placed the cast list  up for its lasted show in the main student building, there is also one posted on the door to the theatre. The footb:-"

I quit listening after that, I was filled with excitement,  I could hardly wait for this class to be over. My professor dragged out every word, time was going so slow, I couldn't wait to get out of there. Soon the time for us to leave had come and as soon as the professor dismissed us I raced out of the hall.
I ran towards the theatre as fast as I could. I was out of breath by the time I got to the door.  There were people at the door looking in at the sheet, loads of the starkids from my audition were there cheering with glee, they all seemed pretty happy with the roles they got.

I almost screamed with happiness. I was Ginny weasley!

"Hey Dumb little sister" Joey said suddenly appearing beside me.
"Hey Ron" I laughed.
"I told you you'd get one of the leads".
"I guess you did" I smiled.

"Hey Ella" someone said appearing beside me "I'm Lauren!". She was a short girl, and I cold tell that she was very loud and outgoing.
"Hello Lauren!" I smiled.
"Congratulations on your role!" She exclaimed.
"Yeah you too! You'll be an amazing Draco Malfoy" I laughed.
"So me and the girls were thinking about heading out to lunch, are you coming? We all want to get to know you".
"Yeah sure, that would be awesome".
"Brilliant I'll tell the ladies".

I turned back to Joey, he handed me a slip of paper. "Text me anytime, I'd love to chat".

He gave me his number!  I was freaking out, Did he actually want to talk to me? Oh my god this was the best thing ever.

"Thanks joey" I tried to say calmly "I'll talk later".
