Chapter Twenty Six

Christmas morning.

I was woken up by Alex knocking on my door and shouting.
"JOEY GET UP, SANTA CAME!!".
I quickly got up and went into the living room.  I took a seat beside Ella who was sitting on the sofa.
"Merry Christmas" I said putting my arm around her. 
"Happy Christmas Joey" She smiled.

"Look at all the presents Santa brought" Alex exclaimed.
"Why don't you start opening them" Ellas Dad said.
Without hesitation Alex dove under the tree taking out presents.
She passed gifts to each of her family before saying "Look Joey! Santa brought you presents!".
She handed me a gift and I smiled "Santa really shouldn't have".

Santa ended up bringing me a few gifts which I was thrilled about. I honestly wasn't expecting anything.
Ella then handed me a box, "Now for my present" She smiled.
"Thank you" I said ripping the paper off. I looked at it, it was a framed photo of the two of us.
"Ella I love it" I beamed.
"I also go you these" he said throwing a big bag of candy at me, filled with red vines of course. "I love you!".

".And here's yours" I said giving her the gift. She ripped it open revealing a jewelery box. She opened it and saw what was inside, a charm bracelet.  I chose the charms, there was a lightning bolt (for Harry potter), a spiderman mask (for our shared love of spiderman) , a capital J and E, along with a bright blue love heart.

"Joey" Ella gasped "Its beautiful".
"Like you" I smiled.
Ella put it on her wrist. "Youre amzing" She grinned.

The rest of the day was just as amazing as the morning. In fact the next week or so was amazing too, but unfortunately the day arrived where I had to go back to Michegan.

"You promise me that you'll audition right" Ella said holding my hand "I want an excuse to go to michegan again".
"I promise" I laughed. We stood at the airport gate, I heard the intercom announce,

'Flight 342 to michegan now boarding'

"As much as I wish I could stay longer, I really have to go" I said.
"I just hate saying goodbye" She sighed.
"Were not saying "goodbye' We're saying 'see you later'".
"Well I hate saying see you later".
"It's not going to be for long though, Once I have the main role in Me and My Dick, you'll be there on opening night"
"

I love you joey".
"I love you more".
I gave her a hug and kissed her before I turned to go through the airport gate. Suddenly Ella called me back "Joey!".
I turned back to her, "Yeah?"
"Have a safe flight".
I smiled relieved. "I will".
