Esme rolled her eyes as she trailed behind the two men singing drunkenly as they stumbled down the street. There was no way that she was being paid enough to have to deal with these two. Especially if it wasn't certain if they were needed for the case or not.

Only two possible things were good about this situation. One, they weren't horrible, quite respectful actually. And two, they were going to see Darcy and Jane. The former of the two being the one she was excited to see.

Esme laughed when the two of them came up with a particularly amusing dance move to go with their song. Suddenly, and without warning, Selvig collapsed, unconscious. Nevertheless, Thor seemed undeterred and just swung the man over his shoulder.

Esme jogged to catch up with the huge man, worried as to what he might do with the doctor, "Where're you going?"

"His home is not far from here, Lady Taylor," he replied, continuing to trek onward.

"Okay then," the brunette shrugged, following along.

It turned out that the trailer was only up the street, and Jane was already inside, "Erik!" Jane exclaimed, having been the one to open the door, "Is he all right?"

"He's fine," Esme reassured from where she stood beside the larger blonde, "He just had too much to drink."

Jane motioned for them to come in and Thor looked to the girl beside him, "Ladies first."

The brunette huffed out a laugh and shrugged, "Thanks," she stepped into the trailer quickly, shaking hands with the scientist inside the van, "Hi, I'm Esme."

"Jane," the woman took her hand hesitantly, "uh- aren't you the agent that took Darcy's iPod?"

"Yeah."

Jane seemed like she was about to say something else, but a loud thump sounded from behind them. The two turned back around to face Thor, who was in the middle of apologizing to an unconscious Selvig.

"What happened?" the scientist asked, looking at her friend worriedly.

"We drank. We fought, He made his ancestors proud," Thor announced loudly, causing the man over his shoulder to groan again.

"I don't think-" Esme stopped her sentence, shaking her head minutely, "You should probably put him down somewhere."

Jane nodded in agreement, "You can put him down on the bed."

The large man tried his best to avoid the various things scattered around the trailer house, but ended up causing a ruckus when he kept bumping into and knocking over almost everything in his path. Eventually he made it over the the small bed, and laid the older man on it.

"I still don't believe that you're the god of thunder," Selvig groaned, opening his eyes briefly, "But you ought to be."

Esme partially agreed. She definitely didn't believe that he was the god of thunder. However, she didn't think that this man was terrible. He was actually quite civil, even if he probably was crazy.

"Esme?"

The brunette turned around, beaming, "Darcy!"
