Helena didn't know what to do. She really loved Joey, but he just broke up with Jennifer.

"Kim, is Joey on the rebound? If he kissed me, I thought he must've liked me, but then again he and Jennifer just ended." Helena stuffed a handful of popcorn into her mouth.
Kim turned around, a tube of lipstick in her hand.

"I don't know, El. He's such a confusing boy. Does he like you? Does he want a fling? What secrets are he hiding in his big, curly hair?" Kim said sarcastically, and Helena groaned loudly.

She looked into his window, to see that he just got out of the shower. A towel was hanging loosely around his hips, and Helena bit her lip.

Kim slid off the seat of Helena's vanity, and walked over towards her window. Kim gasped, and then giggled.

Helena raked her eyes over his abs, and his wet hair, and his back muscles when he turned around, and just about everything else.

"He's so attractive." Helena whined.

"Don't have a cow, El. Look away before he starts changing!" Helena's eyes continue to burn into Joey's window. Kim groaned, and shut her blinds.

"What's your damage?" Helena crossed her arms, and frowned.

"Don't spazz, Helena. I'm sure Joey wants you to see him naked, but you do not want to be a creep." Kim chuckled.

"I'm sure he doesn't want me to see him naked." Helena mumbled.

Kim's eyes practically popped out of her socket, "I'm sure." She said sarcastically.

Kim looked at her watch, "Oh, I got to motor. Thanks for letting me come over! I'll see you tomorrow?" Kim spoke quickly while grabbing her jacket.

"See you, Kim." Helena said, and Kim soon left.

Helena opened up her blinds a bit, and peeked quickly, just to check if Joey was decent or not. When she realised Joey had clothes on, she fully opened her blinds.

She opened her window, and scrambled out. Helena scaled the side of her house, and flopped onto her roof.

"Smooth, Helena." She said to herself, and scooted towards the end of her roof. Helena sat with her arms crossed, mostly because she was super cold. She had definitely underdressed, wearing only sweatpants and an oversized shirt. She stared at the stars, and tried to forget about the fact she wore a t shirt outside at night during December.

"They're pretty aren't they." A voice said, and Helena jumped. She looked to her right to see Joey, and she visibly relaxed.

"Sorry, didn't mean to scare you." Joey said, as he climbed onto the roof.

"You're fine." Helena smiled, and shivered.

"Helena," Joey spoke, looking worried, "You know it's the middle of December, right?"

Helena sighed, "Yeah. I'm aware."

Joey immediately took off his sweatshirt, and handed it to Helena. She looked at it, and shook her head.

"I can't wear your sweatshirt, you'll be freezing." She stuttered, biting her lip.

"Nah, I'll be fine, trust me." Joey said reassuringly, and Helena reluctantly took the sweatshirt. She put it over her head, and immediately felt better. The sweatshirt was warm because Joey was wearing it, and it smelled so good.

"Thank you." Helena said, and scooted towards Joey. She put her head on his shoulder. They looked at the stars together in a peaceful silence, and for once, Helena was truly happy.

She soon fell asleep, and was mumbling quietly in her sleep. Joey thought it was adorable, and he enjoyed having her sleep on him. It didn't matter if he was freezing, because when he was with Helena, he forgot all about those trivial things. She made him happy.

Soon, he had fallen asleep, with Helena's head resting on his chest. Helena's eyes lazily opened, as she checked her watch.

"Shit," She whispered. Joey's arms were around Helena, and he was snoring slightly. The thought of him kissing Jennifer had been haunting her almost the whole night. Helena bit her lip. She moved towards him until they were face to face.

"Joey?" Helena whispered, and touched his face. Helena thought he had really good skin. Joey's eyes fluttered open, and he sat up.

"Helena. What time is it?" Joey asked as Helena fiddled with the strings of Joey's sweatshirt.

"It's eleven pm." She whispered, her eyebrows furrowed.

"Is something wrong?" Joey asked.

"Um, no." Helena lied.

"Seriously, Helena, is something wrong?" Joey said, obviously not believing Helena.

"Well, actually, I was just wondering um, are you, um, like on the rebound, or something like that? Because you didn't really pay attention to me when you were with Jennifer and then right after you break up with her, you suddenly have interest in me, and it's-" Helena's rant was interrupted by Joey kissing her. A few seconds later he pulled away from Helena.

"I don't know why I dated Jennifer. Probably because I thought you didn't like me the way I did because, Helly Belly, I've liked you for a long time, maybe even while I was dating Jennifer. I know it doesn't sound great, but every time I kissed Jennifer I wished it was you. I guess I didn't know what to do with my feelings at the time. But now, I have my priorities straight." Joey said, and Helena smiled.
