"I love you, angel," He whispered.

Helena looked up at Joe, "You love me?" She asked.

He nodded, and Helena bit her lip. Helena was absolutely ecstatic that Joe admitted that he loved her. Helena didn't know what love was, she was sixteen, but she knew that whatever she was feeling, it felt a lot like love.

"I-I love you too," She said, and Joe smiled widely.

Helena quickly kissed him, "Don't you forget about me," She warned.

"Oh, angel, you're unforgettable," He muttered, and Helena chuckled slightly. Joe walked over to the car, and the man opened the door for him.

Helena shivered, and Joe immediately took off his sweatshirt.

"No, Joe, you're about to leave," Helena said, and she laughed, not believing he was actually crazy enough to give her his sweatshirt, which left him in a thin t-shirt.

"Take it, something to remember me by," He said, pushing the sweatshirt towards her.

Helena eyed the sweatshirt, it looked super comfy and over-sized. Helena sighed, and she grabbed the sweatshirt.

Helena put the sweatshirt on, "You dork," She muttered, and Joe started laughing hysterically. He turned to his mother, and gave her a hug.

"Bye, Mom, I love you," Joe said to his mother, and she started crying. Joe kissed his mom's cheek, and then he turned to Helena. He took Helena's hand, and kissed the back of her hand.

"Goodbye, Joey," Helena said, tears pouring down her cheeks.

A tear fell down his cheek, "See you later, Helly Belly," He said, smiling sadly. Joe climbed into the car, and the man shut the door. Joe rolled down the window, and looked one last time at the girl he was in love with.

Joe winked, "Don't do anything I wouldn't do, angel," He said, and the driver drove away, with Joe in the backseat.

"I love you," Helena whispered. She watched the car until it was distant and blurry. Helena waited for it to come back, with Joe smiling in the backseat, saying that he could never leave her, but it never came back.

By the time Helena left the McIntyre's front yard, it was lunchtime. Mrs.McIntyre didn't have the heart to kick her off their lawn, so she had let Helena sit there for three hours.

Helena walked into her house, feeling extremely off. Her mom had left for work already, which left Helena alone with her sister and her dog. She walked to the kitchen to grab a tub of chocolate ice cream, and then made her way to her living room. Helena flopped on the couch, and turned MTV on.

She couldn't believe her eyes. Joey was on the screen, singing Please Don't Go Girl with the guys.

"Mega famous," Helena said to herself while stuffing a spoonful of ice cream into her mouth. Helena scoffed, and she switched the channel.

She couldn't believe she already missed Joe.

The phone rang, and Helena groaned. She trudged towards the phone, and lazily picked up the machine.

"Hello?" Helena asked.

"We're going to a party tonight," Kim said.

Helena scoffed, "Sorry, I already have plans with MTV," She said sarcastically.

"I'm sorry, do I sound like I'm asking you a question? We're going," Kim demanded.

"But I'm lazy," Helena whined.

"Tell it to someone who cares. Come to my house at seven," Kim said, and she hung up the phone.
